Chapter 24 - Dead Girlfriend

Nash POV.

I was shopping at Costco with Shawn and Cameron.

" Bombs away! We look so bomb " I yelled. " Cameron, what's up with the glasses? "

" Its to make me look like the ultimate nerd " Cameron said. " I just can't see ".

" Alrighty, so we need milk... " Shawn read the food list that my mom got me.

" It's a palace in here " Cameron was hugging 1% milk and strarted freezing.

" Cameron, can you go order us some pizza? " I said. Cameron nodded his head and walked out of the store.

Cameron POV.

I was at Little Caesers chatting with the cashier lady. And to my surprise, it was Clarisse. How many jobs does she have? Whatever, She's beautiful.

" Hey " I said. " Why does Nash hate you so much? "

" Because I kept on parting him from Jane. " Clarisse said giving me the pizza. " SMH "

" Well, I don't hate you " I smiled. " Should I take a job in Little Caesers? "

" That's fine, but we're full " Clarisse said as I gave her my money. " Call me sometime ".

I nodded my head, took the pizza and kissed her in the cheek. Then, I ran to Costco.

" Dude, what took you so long? " Shawn said. " Get to the car, we're done shopping ".

" Well, nothing really happened. Really " I lied starting the engine and started driving.

" Oh really " Nash frowned. " Then were you kissing anyone? "

" No " I lied. " No one at all ".

" Your lieing! " Nash yelled. " Lick my lips. It will show whether your lips still taste the same or nah. Otherwise, your a lier for life ".

Nash POV.

" What? No way " Cameron laughed. " Im gonna lick a napkin, not you ".

I rolled my eyes. Any which way, he's lieing. Cameron gave me a napkin he licked.

" Seriously " I said in disgust. " Im pretty weirded out about this idea ". Cameron laughs.

I closed my eyes and pressed the napkin slighty to my lips. Yuck, wut the mother f**--

" Clarisse! " I yelled. " Shawn, Cameron kissed Clarisse! I can sense it! "

" How did you know for sure? Maybe I didn't kiss her " Cameron said. " Or nahh "

" Cameron, the proof has already been made, you kissed her " Shawn said.

" CAMERON! I told you to cut it out! She's a bad influence and if my best friend started dating someone I hate, then I will have a problem getting along with you " I yelled.

" Fine! " Cameron tore a napkin with Clarisse's phone number on it. "I'm done with her"

Cameron pulled up the car in front of Jane's house.

" Im going to Jane's house, you wanna come? " I asked Shawn and Cameron.

" Sure " Cameron and Shawn said and I rang the doorbell. Jane's older brother, Felix opened the door holding a tissue box. I guess he's doing the tissue box bathroom thingy.

" Hey, Felix " I haid shaking his hands. Felix's face was red and he wasn't to happy.

" Dude, Jane's not home. She's in the hospital " Felix said sniffing. " You can go see her "

" What? " My heart was shattering. " Ja-Ja-Jane's in the hospital?! What happened? "

" She was driving her car to Costco to see you guys because she missed you, and then she crashed on the high ways " Felix said. " I don't want any bad memories, im sorry ".

" Cameron, Shawn, we have to go to that hospital now " I cried. " NOW! LETS GO! "

Felix closed the door and went back inside the house as Shawn, Cameron, and I ran to the car and drove to the hospital. We ran up the stairs to Jane's hospital room and I nearly broke my leg from slipping on the stairway.

" Jane! " I yelled. " I'm sorry I wasn't there for you, please wake up! "

" Excuse me, sir. " The doctor said. " Please wait outside, we are on life support ".

" Support my heart " I mumbled to myself crying as Shawn and Cameron came to drag me out of the room by my arms. " Nash, she's going to be fine " Shawn said crying.

" When? Im on my dead zone " I cried. " She's not okay, i'm not okay. I can't be calm! "

" Nash, it's OKAY " Cameron said. " Prey for her. Stay strong. Hope she isn't gonna die "

I huged Shawn and Cameron and waited patiently in the hospital waiting area.

" Nash Grier, " The doctor said. " Come on in ". I held my hands tightly together. Preying to god, Please let her be alive... please let her be alive...

" She's dead, i'm sorry for your lost. " Dr.Medicine said. " Just remember the good ol' times you had together and she will be watching you from heaven ". My heart sank.

" She's dead?! Don't play around with me " I started crying and exploding my face with tears. " Jane! Nuhhh!!! " I ran to her body and kissed her. " Jane! Wake up! COME ON! "

" GAHHH!!! " I yelled crying and slammed the door behind me tugging onto Shawn's arm. " SHAWN! SHES DEAD! ". Jane's parents were crying.

" Relax, Nash " Cameron was crying. " Stay strong, please. Please. Ga-guhhh--"

" Remembered " I said to the sky as Cameron was driving us home. " We will always be together, Jane. The four of us. Remember me? Nash. Cameron. Shawn. and you. BFF "
