A Propasal With a Price

Takano felt a little more relaxed these days now that An had been electrified on an electric chair.

Takano was in the middle of correcting some storyboards when there was a knock on the door.

    “Come in” Takano called out and in came Ryuichiro.

    “HELLO TAKANO-SAN” Came his annoying voice...well annoying to Takano it was never a good thing when Isaka was around. Last time he had dealings with the man he was sent to Okinawa with his department for a forced business vacation mainly so they could bring their boss back chocolate. They were supposed to leave the next day but a storm prevented them from coming home which resulted in their work being seriously backed up. When the end of the cycle had hit everyone wondered why they didn’t die.

    “Isaka-San?” Takano asked a little surprised to see him here.

“Hai” the managing director smiled coming in with flowers Takano assumed were for Ritsu.

    “Did you need something sir?” Takano asked with foreboding.

“Yes it seems that we have gotten an Important client. The Jump Magazine Director is willing to partner up with our Manga Section”
    Takano blinked he couldn’t believe his ears “Are you serious?” He then paused “What's the catch?”

    Ryuichiro smirked “Well in order to finalize the partnership The Editor-in-Chief of the Emerald department needs to write a proposal as to what our department can do to improve the magazine. And since that person is you well you get the idea”

Takano groaned slumping in his chair. This new development would back up his work even more so. He would be half dead  by the time they finished. Even though he didn't want to Takano knew he had to hire a new guy and not just someone who just started but someone who at least knew what they were doing. He thought about the intern Misaki but quickly through that out the window. The writing department would he at his throats if they found out that he had taken Usami Sensei’s lover to work like a slave. He thought hard and just sighed. He had to hire someone new. He looked up at Ryuichiro who was silently waiting for his answer with that damned grin of his. “I'll do it but I'm going to hire a few people to take on the work.”

“Oh a perfect idea” Ryuichiro clapped his hands and laughed in delight. Usami rolled his eyes. He knew that attitude. He was happy about getting someone new to “play with”

Takano checked his watch, it was still pretty early in the day. If he was going to hire someone to take over his place he needed to start searching now. He looked back up at Ryuichiro, “when's the proposal due?”

‘“They gave us 2 months” he said which surprised the editor. “That's an oddly long time” Takano voiced out. Ryuichiro only smiled “well it seems like the chairmen has heard of your situation with Mr. Coattails over there” he nodded to Ritsu.

That made more sense to Takano. “Alright then I’ll start looking for a new employee Immediately.” He said as he grabbed his laptop and started posting “help wanted” signs on all the hiring websites he's  associated with. He knew if he ended up hiring a complete newb then it would be ok if he left the training part up to Hatori and Mino.

“Anyways I'll be off I have an interview with someone today. Oh by the way if you're going to hire someone then that person will take over coattails work. Since I want your full attention on that proposal I hired someone to take on half of your work. This way you can work twice as fast. But he's only temporarily working with us. Seems like the company he's working for is having a slow month so I asked his boss if I could borrow him. He said ok but it will be just for a month but that should be ok. He will take over most of your work and don't worry he’s very experienced enough editor-in-chief in his department.”
          I groaned internally. He didn't like the idea of someone else taking over his work even if it was someone with the experience Ryuichiro claimed, but he knew he had to let it slide since this temporary worker was hired by Ryuichiro. He thought it through and just let out a sigh of defeat. At least this worker would be temporary. “I mean how hard can it be?” Takano asked himself.

          “Your temp is outside in the hall by the way I brought him along to introduce you to him.

Takano sighed again “Fine let him in” he said standing up. He looked down at his pants and smoothed away the wrinkles as he heard a set of feet enter. He looked up ready to greet this new employee but when he saw the grinning face of an all too familiar thorn in his side he paled.
“Fuck it all...I knew it would be bad but not this bad” he growled to himself.
“Takano starting today Arata Haitani will be working with you.” Ryuichiro smiled unaware that these two already had a history.
      “Take care of me Sensei” Hitani smiled a devil's smile and bowed.

     Takano felt his blood boil. This thorn pissed him off. “What the hell? This is a joke right? Some fucked up twisted joke. Like hell Shuudansha's Weekly Earth is having a slow month what the he'll are you planning?” he fumed

   “Now now temper temper Takano-san even we have slow months and what do you mean planning? I am just a lonely editor in need of some extra work.” he smirked making Takanos blood boil.

     Ryuichiro blinked in surprise. “I taken it you two known each other?”
     “Unfortunately we do” Takano growled.

“Unfortunately? That's a bit harsh don't you think?” Hitani said with fake hurt in his voice before glancing at Ritsu. Takano noticed the eye movement and grabbed Hitanis shirt and slammed him to the wall. “Let me tell you now stay away from Onodera” he growled.

     “Hey now Takano-san lets calm down” Ryuichiro said laughing nervously. “We don't wanna cause a scene in the hospital.”

      Takano glared at Hitani once more before letting him go.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////For those who have never read the manga Hitani is some one Takano used to work with. I won't say anything else to spoil it in case any of you are planning to read the manga or if you are reading it but havnt made it to that part yet.
  

Also what do y'all think of me taking the new guy Takano will hire and pair him with Mino since he dosent have a partner yet in sekaiichi hatsukoi?
