"Gregg?" I asked, walking towards them

"Gregg?" I asked, walking towards them. "Audrey?" He stood up straight, his mouth hanging open. I walked at a quicker pace, approaching them as quickly as I could without slipping.

But apparently I didn't have to, since Gregg reached me in five long strides and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. "God, Audrey, what are you doing here?" He said, his face hidden in my hair.

"What does it seem like I'm doing? Starting my first day of school, here at Forks High School." I said, inhaling the scent of pines and cologne that lingered around him.

"What?" He asked, pulling his head away to get a better look at my face. "Are you kidding me? Please tell me that you're not kidding." He pleaded, squeezing my cheeks together with his large hands.

"Relax, Gregg, I'm not kidding. I'm here to stay. Bella and I moved in with dad yesterday." I managed to mumble. Pushing his hands away from my face I nodded towards my sister, who stood behind me, looking awfully awkward.

"Really? That's great! I missed you so much those past two years. You owe us a lot of time now that you're staying in Forks for good."

"We'll have all the time in the world. I'm not going anywhere." I tried to convince him. "Yeah, liked you said you would be back next year and then disappeared for two whole years? Not going to happen. Pinky promise." He demanded, putting his pinky between us.

I wrapped my pinky around his and smiled. "I promise." He smiled down at me, satisfied. "Well, you have your pinky promise, now the only thing left is this." I grinned, punching him in the stomach.

He doubled over, clutching his middle, a whizz escaping him. "What was that for?" He groaned. "That was for making fun of our car. You weren't a jerk two years ago and you sure as hell aren't going to be one now that I'm back; I'll make you un-become a jerk." I smirked.

"That is not even a word." He hissed at me, still rubbing his abdominal. "Girl!!" A high squeal sounded, before someone tackled me in a hug, red surrounding my vision.

"Hey, Melissa." I chuckled, hugging her back. "I didn't realize how much our group missed the sassy, straightforward one. I'm glad that you're back and that you've finally put him in his place. Still got it in you, I see." She grinned, fixing her hair.

"It comes naturally, that's all I can say." I confessed patting Gregg's back. "However, this one? I simply have him wrapped around my finger." I shrugged.

"No, you don't." Gregg protested. "Oh, don't I? We'll see about that." I whispered in his ear, making him shiver. "No... you don't." He said again, with more difficulty than before.

"Still sure about that?" I asked him, running a hand down his chest. "Yes..." he breathed out. "Oh, quite pretending Gregg, she does whatever she wants with you and all of us know it." Someone said from behind us.

I looked over my shoulder, to see the blondie of our group. "When will I get my hug?" She winked at me. "Right now, you crazy blonde." I shouted, leaping on her, as we both laughed.
