"Hello, earth to Drea!!" Jake sat up and waved his hands at me, snapping me out of my daydream. "See something you like?" He smirked at me.
"Like there would be something great to see." I scoffed, making him frown at me. "You don't know what you're talking about. Want me to enlighten you." He smirked, making my heart beat faster at the mere thought.
I rolled my eyes at him and placed the ice cream on his desk. "The only thing I want you to enlighten me about is laying on your bed--" I pointed at the half eaten Snickers.
"And floor--" I pointed to the empty wrappers. "So care to tell me, why the hell are you eating my candy bars?" I told him pointedly, as I tried to keep my eyes on his face and not his chest. Damn you, imprint bond.
"Your candy bars? I didn't know you owned them." He told and a damn sexy smirk appeared on his face. "You knew they were for me. Billy always made sure to have some in the house when I was visiting." I frowned.
"Audrey, stop being so dramatic. I ate most of the Snickers bars. So what?" He rolled his eyes at me. "Don't you dare try that attitude with me right now." I snapped at him and picked up the ice cream.
"Hey! That's my ice cream!" He whined. "Oh, really? I didn't know you owned it!" I threw his words back at him. "Don't use my words against me and put my ice cream down." He ordered.
"Try take the ice cream from me, Jacob Black, and I swear to God you will end up with a broken bone or two." I threatened seriously.
Jake, detecting that I was in a sour mood, held his arms up in surrender. "What got your panties in a twist this time?" He asked me. "None of your business." I grumbled, forcing the ice cream filled spoon in my mouth.
"Hey, slow down on the ice cream before you choke. If your asking for Snickers and shoving your face in ice cream, something's up. Come on, tell me what happened." Jake patted the place beside him.
"God, Jake, stop pestering me." I shouted, throwing my spoon at him, but he ducked just in time. "I don't want to talk about it, especially with you." I glared at him, placed the ice cream on his desk again and left him frowning at my back.
Immediately, I headed to the kitchen. I had to talk to Billy. He would know what I should do. "Billy, I need to talk to you." I told him urgently, as soon as I stepped in the kitchen.
"Well, I'll be done in a second and then we can sit down and talk as we eat the pancakes. I made your favorite; chocolate chip." He smiled at me and flipped the one that was on the pan.
"No, it can't wait! We have to talk now! It's serious!" I told him with wide eyes. "Alright, alright. Let's put this one here." He told me and placed the perfectly shaped pancake on top of the stack. "Jacob, come here for a second." He called and I looked at him with wide eyes.
"What are you doing, Billy? I didn't mean the three of us. Just you and me." I whisper-yelled. "Relax." He told me. "Oh, you're here, Jacob." He smiled at the boy leaning on the door frame.
