Seven at One
Logan Spark's P.O.V.
~ Music by: Natalie Grant - Bring it all together ~ ~ In part 1 ~

Following mum into the kitchen, the modern white counter tops glinting from the sunshine that streamed through the windows was warm from the recently turned on over. As I began to ask her my questions I took a seat on the bar stool, the crisp cool leather squeaked as I shifted into a comfortable position.
"Mum, what is happening to me?" I looked into her eyes, the grey colour was becoming more prominent since the last time I looked into them and I felt an unease as I wondered what that meant.
"Logan, before I tell you, I want you to know that everything is meant to happen for a reason."
"What do you mean?" Confusion clearly laced every word of my question, my unease growing in the pit of my stomach becoming more noticeable to me.
"Son, you know the spark of electric at the shop?"
I nodded to show I knew what she was talking about - 'how could I forget?'
"It happened because there's something special about you. You're what we call an elemental."
I sat studying my mums face for any signs that she was joking, that this wasn't real, but all I was rewarded with was a stone cold expression that told me this was no laughing matter. The grey eyes with their strange yellow tint, soft features like the plump pink lips held in a straight line just helped to further solidify the fact that mum wasn't joking.
"I'm a what?" Confusion still laced my words, but now there was a slight twinge of fear.
"Logan, our family has held the secret for hundreds of years and now its your time to hold the secret."
"Hold up, just one second. Mum what are you talking about?"
"Logan, you're an elemental. A being who has the ability to control an aspect of nature itself. It's something that has been passed through the family for generations and now is your time."
"Well who is then?" I question cause I'm only more confused then I was when we first sat down
"That my dear, is tasked to a girl called Thea Arc." As my mum said those words I noticed a strange yellow glow beginning to radiate out from underneath her shirt, turning the green shirt a mix of yellow and green. As the glowing increased mum pulled a crystal pendent out from beneath the shirt which the glowing was in fact emulating from.
"Hello Logan."
"Who are you?"
"Logan, meet Thea." Mum said as my eyes followed the direction that her pointer finger was encouraging me to look at. I was greeted by a figure that was neither there nor here, but somewhere in-between. As I studied her appearance, the long flowing blond hair which was platinum gold, and slim but curvy body drew my attention, the way her dress clung to her figure was mesmerising to look at. The thing that shocked me was her eyes. Similar to my mothers eyes, they had a golden ring around the iris, the grey almost identical to that of my mothers.
"Logan, is so nice to meet you." The girl before me spread her arms wide, her smile lighting up her face and making her already beautiful features appear almost glamorous to behold. "I'm here to explain what is happening to you." Her voice, like the rest of her, was beautiful, like music to my own ears.
Almost forgetting what was happening, Logan snapped out of his trance and spoke for the first time in a while. "Why is this happening to me?"
"Because an elemental has always been the first born, and sadly that means you are the next elemental in our family." The sadness that filled Thea's voice almost brought tears of frustration to Logan's eyes; he didn't want this, didn't want to deal with the pressure of being something more than himself.
