My father smiles at me and opens his arms.
I jump into them and hug him.
Everyone lowers their guns. Muttering begins to rise among the people though.
However, I'm hardly paying attention.
"I missed you Katilynn." my father whispers into my ear.
"I missed you too Dad." I tell him.
"Asher," Trisha says moving forward, toward us. "I see you have decided to return. To return home."
"Yes, I suppose I have." my dad says.
I unwrap my arms from my dad'd waist and he does the same.
"You are all allowed to leave and carry on your daily schedule." Trisha says loud enough for everyone in the crowd to hear.
Slowly, the people move away from their positions to do as Trisha orders.
Within about 10 minutes the whole square is cleared except Trisha, my father, Collin and I.
Collin hasn't moved from his spot.
Shyly, I give him a small smile as a cue that it's okay.
He returns one back and walks toward the three of us.
"Ah, Dylan's son." my father says. "So we meet again."
Collin winces.
"Well Trisha and Collin, would it be okay if I spent a little time with my daughter?" my father asks with politeness.
"Yes, of course. I'm guessing that's what you came here for anyway." Trisha says.
Quickly, she hurries away.
I notice how my father's eyes follow Trisha as she walks away.
She's mumbling to herself, but she far enough that I can't hear what she's saying.
My father sighs and turns to focus on me.
"Well Collin, would you mind if I spent a few hours alone with my daughter?" my father asks Collin politely.
"Um, no of course not." Collin says. He taps my shoulder and smiles. "I'll see you around Katilynn."
"Okay." I say with a smile.
Quickly I lean in and kiss him.
Just as fast, I pull away with a small smile.
My father raises an eyebrow, but says nothing.
"Shall we be going then?" my dad asks me.
"Yeah, lets go." I respond.
As I walk next to my dad, I turn around and see Collin still standing in the same spot, unmoved.
I shoot him a glare telling him to go do something with his life.
He laughs and walks away into the crowd of people with his hands in his jean pockets.

"So how has training been?" my father asks me as we walk.
"Okay, I guess. Where are we going?" I answer.
