Clocks.
That's something that the Remedy lacks, unless you're wearing one on your wrist.
Clocks.
After a very long 5 minutes of waiting for Collin to show up, I start to walk around.
I just walk in circles with my eyes trailed on the ground, until something suddenly catches my attention.
Out of the corner of my eye, I notice a light that was once on, turned off.
Curiously, I start to walk toward it.
That's when another light turns off to my left.
And another.
Before I know it, I'm surrounded by complete darkness.
"What the heck?" I murmur to myself.
What is going on?
I turn around and notice that there is a little light coming through the entrance/exit of the fighting stage.
Exasperated, I walk toward the opening.
Until there is a tap on my shoulder.
Spinning fast on my heel, I go to slap whoever is there. Only to find that there was no one or thing actually there.
A small chuckle escapes someone hidden in the darkness.
I advance toward the noise and feel someone brush by my arm.
Going to grab it, my hand returns empty.
"Is that all you got, little girl?" taunts the voice in the darkness.
"I'm not a little girl!" I shout.
Arms wrap around my waist and someone whispers into my ear, " I'm not sure that is a correct statement."
My chance came.
As hard as possible, I elbow my dark friend in the ribs and turn and punch him in the face.
A small 'ompf' is let out.
I watch as a figure, that is clearly a boys, stumble to one of the walls and hit a few buttons.
The lights illuminate the room enough for me to see the person who was taunting me in the dark. The person is clearly a boy my age. He's dressed in a white dress shirt, button up. He's also wearing black dress pants and fancy black shoes. A green metal bracelet clings to the boys right wrist. His blonde hair is familiar, but it isn't swayed on his mid-forehead. Now it's spiked so it sticks up in different directions. Messy, but kind of hot.
The boy also has a blossoming black and blue eye.
Even with those circumstances, the boy has a wicked smile on his face.
However, I'm beyond angry.
"What the hell?!" I scream at Collin. "Is that how you think you charm a girl? By shutting off all the lights to taunt them? Dear God help you if you think that is the way to get a girl."
"You punched me in the eye!" Collin says back at me, just not quite as loud.
I quiet my voice and say, "Well, you were the one who wanted me to be here. So what now?"
"Follow me." Collin says, still smiling.
And that's what I do.
Collin walks up to the fighting stage and I pause before joining him.
With a shiver, I remember my last visit here when I watched before my eyes Collin get beaten by Jack.
"You coming?" Collin asks.
