Ariana's POV:

BEEP BEEP BEEP! My alarm went off at 5:30am. I sat up in bed and turned off my alarm. I was so tired from watching movies last night with Alexa. But it was worth it. I tiredly got out of bed and walked down to the kitchen. My mom was making breakfast. "Hey sweetie! How'd you sleep?" she asked "Not too good. I said. "I went to bed really late watching movies." She smiled and handed me a plate of pancakes "Go eat your breakfast and get ready for school." I nodded and quickly ate my breakfast. It was delicious like always. "Thanks mom." I said before walking upstairs to get ready.

I grabbed my books from my locker and hurried to class. I was almost late. I slammed into somebody and all my books fell. "I'm so sorry!" I cried. "It's my fault." a boy said. I looked up at him and didn't recognize him. "Hi. I'm Nathan." He smiled. "Oh hi." I said starting to pick my books up. "Oh let me do that!" Nathan said and put his stuff on the floor. "Thanks" I said blushing. "Don't mention it" he grinned handing me my books. "See ya later!" He ran off to his first class leaving me there standing like a fool. I quickly walked to class and quietly sat in my seat. "Ariana." the teacher said. "Why are you late?" I looked up and sighed. I heard some people giggling and my face got pink from embarrassment. "I dropped my books." I muttered "Sorry." The teacher turned on her heel and continued teaching. I hated school. I tapped my foot as I thought about that boy named Nathan. He was hot. Really hot. I felt my face heat up when the teacher once again, say my name. "Ariana!" She yelled. "Stop daydreaming and answer the question!" "Can you repeat the question?" I said quietly. "No." she barked. "Go to the office! NOW!" My face got really red and I got my belongings and ran out of the room. Once I was in the hallway, I found my locker, put my things away, and quietly walked to the principles office. I went there 3 times this week. My mind is just a blur of the memory of Jai breaking up with me. I wiped the tears from my eyes as I opened the principals door. "Hello Ariana!" The secretary chirped. "Here for the principal?" I nodded and she gave me a warm smile. "He isn't here today. I know what your problem is. I think you should head to the guidance councilor". "Thanks" I muttered before leaving the room. I decided to just go home and ditch school. It was really unlike me but I just needed a break to cry. I grabbed my bag and all my books I needed for homework and my keys. "Where are you going?" said a voice. Sounded really familiar. I looked up and realized it was Nathan. "Oh me?" I said. "Yes you" He chuckled moving closer to me. I could smell his cologne. "Ditching school." I whispered. "Oh.." he trailed off. "Im sorry. I just got over a break up and teachers are yelling at me. I need to go." I said. He stopped me and grabbed my arm. "Wait." he said. "Can I have your number?" My eyes widened as I looked up at him. "Oh um sure." I wrote it down and handed him it. He hugged me before I left. "I'm sorry about your breakup" he whispered in my ear. It sent goosebumps down my spine. "Thanks." I said before running off.
