A Broken Heart

Chapter 13

I pulled into the driveway and parked the car. It was a Thursday night and I was exhausted. We were close to the end of the year, and close to finals. All I have been doing was studying 24/7.

When I got inside, I headed to the kitchen and got some grapes. I spotted my mom in the living room watching a show. I went into the living room and sat down. Plopping a grape into my mouth I talked to my mom.

"Mom, I don't want to attend therapy anymore. I don't need to go to therapy. I've never cut and I promise I never will." I said. My mom looked over from watching T.V.

"You don't like it? Aw why not Ari? I think it would be good for you." My mom replied.

"Mom I'm not depressed. I didn't lie about Nathan. He cheated on me. He called me and told me to meet him at the school. So I went and him and his girlfriend physically hurt me. That's why I was bloody. Please believe me." I pleaded to her.

"Honey I believe you but there's no proof. I called Nathan's mom and she said she was on vacation with her family." My mom said patting my lap.

I thought for a minute and then I remembered the school has cameras on all day! They would've recorded them doing that!!! I explained my mom that and she agreed to call the school and get any evidence she could.

I hope things clear up and people believe me. Thank the Lord for electronics!!!!
