It was Halloween. Decorations were hung on every house. Jack'o'lanterns sat outside peoples houses and all other kinds of decorations. The school was no different. Inside and out the school seemed more like a haunted house than anything else. The students had the day off today to help decorate the interior in preparation for the Halloween party.
Matt was sat alone at his house. He seemed worried. Worried about his sister, Vicky. He had the past couple of weeks off of school know to compose himself. He couldn't skip out tonight though. It was the Halloween party. He stood up and left for school hoping the day would go by quickly.
Vicky was living under the Salvatores for the time being. The three of them were sat in Stefan's room while Stefan explained everything to her.
"So..." Vicky began. "To survive... I need to drink blood?" She asked. She appeared to be rather calm about it all.. "Yes." Stefan replied. "But you need to be careful." He continued. "It can get addictive and you could go out of control." He finished.
"Relax, Stefan," Damon demanded impatiently. "She has us. She'll be fine." He said brushing off Stefan's warning.
Stefan sighed impatiently. "Damon--"
"She needs to revel in it, Stefan." Damon interrupted. "That way she can have fun with it and not kill anybody." He finished.
Stefan stopped quiet and looked to the window unsure of the whole situation.
At the Mystic Grill, Sam and Dean were sat at the bar. Dean with a line of shots and Sam with his one bottle. "So..." Sam began taking a swig from his bottle. "It seems like we will have to take up ordinary lives for the time being." He suggested.
"Ordinary lives?" Dean asked almost ridiculing the idea.
"Well yeah." Sam responded. "Think about it, Dean. This place is probably crawling with Vampires." Sam justified.
"Yeah tell the whole world will ya?" Dean said sarcastically in a hushed tone. Sam narrowed his eyes at Dean sharply before exhaling in exasperation and taking another swig of his drink.
Back at the school, Jeremy and Matt were hanging decorations on the walls and ceilings of the interior of the building. "Hey, Matt." Jeremy began as he looked towards him. "Have you heard from Vicky at all?" He asked curiously.
"No. I haven't." He said with a sigh while shaking his head. "Honestly, that girl could be anywhere." He finished sounding rather frustrated with the fact. Matt opened another box and proceeded to pull out the first decoration.
Within seconds of the silence. Elena passed Matt and Jeremy alongside Bonnie and a blonde haired girl with dark blue eye stalking to the two of them. Seeing this Jeremy jumped down the ladder and approached Elena. "Hey, Elena" He began to capture her attention. "Have you seen Vicky?" He asked in a rather worried tone.
"No, Jer, I haven't" She answered in a rather civil and worried tone. "Honestly Jer, she's no good for you." She said cautiously as she continued on with Bonnie and The girl named Caroline. Jeremy simply watched the three of them go looking worried.
Night fell at Mystic Falls and the school was covered in Halloween decorations with blue neon lights flashing to create the effect of lightning were throughout the interior along with green glowing decorations and cob webs. Everyone was dressed in costume. Jeremy walked up to the entrance wearing black jeans and a hoodie with the hood held over his head. Next to him was his siter Elena wearing a low cut nurses outfit and a white nurses mini skirt with long white socks, black shoes and a little nurses hat on her head.
Jeremy walked into the building with Elena next him. She moved in front of him and looked into his eyes sternly. "Don't wonder off. It's better you stay away from her." Elena demanded. Jeremy rolled his eyes angrily and walked past her and into the crowed, Elena simply watching him leave.
Dean and Sam passed by the school in the Impala and stopped just outside. "Think this is the place?" Sam asked facing Dean, "Most likely." Dean responded as he opened the door and stepped out, Sam following just after.
Stefan, standing in the hall was looking around, presumably looking for Vicky, or at least, Jeremy. He listened in an attempt to hear at least one of them, however there were too many different voices around him. He could hardly hear himself think. He took a swig of his drink before setting the cup down and walking out.
It didn't take long for Jeremy to wonder far enough away from his sister to look for Vicky. He walked down the darkened hall with glow in the dark webs and skeletons on the walls and the occasional white flash which was added for the effect of lightning. It wasn't long until he was grabbed by the arm and dragged into a dark corner. "Hey!" He called out in a snap before realizing who it was. It was Vicky. She wore a black dress and knee high socks with a high neck cape lined with red. She smiles at him "Hey." She responded and pressed her lips to his kissing her deeply. Him kissing her back quickly before Vicky pulled them both out of the school and around the back.
Stefan was now stood outside attempting to listen around for any kind of familiar voice. Any at all. He was only met by a tap on the shoulder from his older brother, Damon. "You found her yet?" He asked as he looked at Stefan. "Not yet." Stefan answered looking around. Sam came up the two of them and exchanged a look between him and the two brothers standing before him.
"Anyone seen Dean?" Sam asked in a huff like he had been running around looking for his older brother.
"No, not yet." Stefan responded in disappointment.
"Are you even capable of having what we're looking for, Stefan?" Damon asked in slight frustration before looking around the sides of the school. "Anybody try the back?" Damon then asked with curiosity before looking at Stefan and Sam who both looked back at Damon.
"We should go." Sam stated calmly before walking ahead, followed by Stefan and Damon.
At the back of the school, Jeremy was pushed against the side of a bus by Vicky, whom he was sharing a kiss with. Moments in she began to bite down on his lip hard. "Ow." Jeremy uttered moving his head back. "You're taking that costume a little too far aren't you?" He asked before leaning in kissing her again pushing her away after she bit down once again causing him to bleed. "Hey" Jeremy said raising his voice slightly. "The hell?" He asked her in concern before she licked the blood off his lips and began sucking on them. Jeremy found himself pushing her away taken aback by her sudden animosity. He watched as Vicky's eyes became bloodshot and her fangs elongated giving. She looked at him as a boyfriend no longer. To her, he was only food.
