Whenever I see you sad,
I feel the need to hold you close.
When the tears descend from your dazzling brown eyes, I feel the need to wipe them away.
I don't like seeing you sad or cry.
Every tear of yours is like a drop of acid leaked into my body that instantly dissolves my insides.
It's seeing you unhappy that makes me lifeless.
I probably won't even know how you are in a couple of months.
Our time is almost up, and I have to go my separate way.
I'll be there by heart.
So when things are not turning out good in your life know that I'm just a call away.
From afar, I'll be hoping everything is okay.
It'll be hard being away but if I ever need to feel you close, I'll look up at the moon and put my hand in my heart.
Then you won't feel so distant because no matter where we are, we'll always be under the same moon.
Never did the thought of being across the universe feel as glorious as it does now.
