In a matter of seconds, I knew I loved you.
I felt a bliss in my heart that I couldn't explain.
Until the words in my head displayed,
"I love him".
The world around me was no longer dim.
I could see the blue sky and the palm trees waving side to side.
Many people never find their true love.
But as I say goodbye, I'm grateful I found the one.
Not many are lucky to have felt what I did.
Though in no way, was this the ending I wanted.
