"Blah blah blah blah blah
blah blah blah, fa la la la la la la la la..."The most annoying part about Jasmine singing, was that she knew the lyrics to the song. But if there's a hobby that this bitch loves, it's pissing me off.
"Jasmine. Please shut up" I groaned into the pillow. Not wanting to get up just yet.
"Come on! It's the last day of the year. You can't just sleep around all day today"
She sounded like Anna when she said 'the sky is awake, so I'm awake. I want to play' or something along the lines of that.
"Jasmine I know it's the last day of the year. That's exactly why I'm planning on sleeping it through, and then ordering pizza by 11:50something so when it arrives I'll say 'I ordered this last year'
How hard is that for you to understand?"
"You're no fun" she huffed, getting up from beside me to God knows where.
Slowly, I was enveloped back into the arms of sleepiness, and everything faded to black.

"Are you really planning to stay home all day? Mr Harris is hosting a new year's eve party, and I think it would be really cool if you came"
Shaking my head no, I pulled a jumper on.
"I honestly am not in the mood for any parties. I just wanna watch Christmas movies and mourn the year"
"Any particular reason for that?"
"No Jas. Please go away soon so I can be home alone" the last part was more to myself than her.
"Come on Godmother, are you okay? Should I stay back?" Jasmine asked, her hands on my shoulders, and a concerned frown on her face.
"I'm okay. Just feeling a bit down is all. Don't stay back. Damien won't be happy about that"
"You do know that you come before Damien, right?"
A small smile made its way to my face. "I know. Thank you"
"Don't thank me, you ass. Should I stay or should I go? I don't mind either you know" (a/n:rhaimeeesss)
Smiling a bit wider, I hugged her close a bit too tightly.
"You know you want to go. So don't make me answer that question"
"I love you godmother" she laughed, pulling away and pinching my cheeks.
"I love you too"
As soon as she was out of the house, I regulated the air conditioner so that the house got cold, got my flask of hot chocolate ready, and after making myself into a blanket burrito, I reclined on the couch to watch 'The Grinch who stole Christmas' just because I could.
I never realized how difficult it could be to try to pull out only one part of your body from your burrito cushion, until my phone rang.
It was by the third ring that I was finally able to pull one hand out of the dreaded wrap I put myself into.
"Hi" I greeted breathlessly, not bothering to check the caller ID.
"Hey Adrien"
A smile found itself to my face at the sound of his raspy voice.
"H-hi Mikey"
"How are you?"
"I'm just there. Not so good, not so bad. Just here I guess. What about you?"
