"That should be the last one. Get down from there before you break something"
I scowled at Jasmine, but did as she said. There's only one week till Christmas, and I'm beyond excited. Jasmine and I were just done putting up the last decorations on the tree, and around the house.
"I can't wait for this fucking year to end" Jasmine groaned, rubbing her face.
"Me neither. This year was one of the most confusing years ever"
After putting up decorations all day we were beyond worn out. Also from the chasing and weird dancing and hitting each other.
"But godmother, you gotta admit, this wasn't that bad of a year"
I snorted. "Oh really. What made it good then?"
"A lot of things. You're not dead-" she started "-Me, your Starbucks boy, um, what else? Oh yeah, me" she smirked at the last part.
"Oh shut up, you cocky human"
"Well I am cocky, but without a cock" (A/N: anyone who can guess who this is, is gonna get something special. The person who it's about isn't allowed to say a word) she still kept up the stupid smirk.
I tried to keep up a straight face, but it was hard. And before I knew, I was in stitches.
Both of us laughed and laughed and laughed until our stomachs hurt.
"I love you godmother" she said, after we calmed down.
"I love you too bae. Now can we stop being sentimental? If not I'm gonna cry"
"Okay, okay I'm sorry" she chuckled, getting up and walking towards the bathroom.
"I'm going to take a bath. So I'll be in there for quite a while. Don't kill yourself or eat all the food in the house, okay?"
"Fuck off you"
'Christmas Christmas time is near, time for toys and time for cheer-'
Looking at the screen on my phone, the caller ID read 'My Starbucks boy'.
When did Jasmine get a hold on my phone?
"Yello" I chirped, laying back completely on the couch.
"Hiiiiii" the deep voice I anticipated, wasn't the one that spoke to me.
"Olivia? Hi" I answered back, surprised.
"Ello. How are you?"
"I'm hungry. And you?"
"I'm gooda. Like the cheese"
I swear I could feel the smugness radiating off her at that really good punchline, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"That's awesome. How exactly did you get a hold on Michael's phone?" I had to ask, because that boy always seemed to have some kind of hold on his phone.
"I hid it" she simply replied.
"Oh my God you have to teach me your ways! I can never hide my best friends phone. Never. She seems to know when I'm even close to it. That girl"
"Hmmm-" Olivia started out, sounding thoughtful "-it seems your friend has what I like to call monitoring spirits"
"Moni-" I couldn't finish my statement, as I erupted into a bubble of laughter.
