For about a week, Jasmine and I didn't step out of the house

On a particular Friday, as I walked home from school, with a heck load of assignments and books to read, I spotted something that made my heart jump with joy.

"Oh my God, the new Starbucks is here, how did I not notice?" I squealed in excitement, crossing over to the other side of the road.

As I opened the door, I looked around. It looked new, and way prettier than the other one I used to go.

But then, that had been around for quite sometime.

The fairly empty caféand too bright lights reminded me of a movie Jasmine and I went to see two wees

"Hi. Can I get a Swedish berry iced tea?"

His lower lip was between his teeth as he fumbled with the register.

"Yeah sure ... One sec"

I nodded and watched him fumble some more with the register.

"Dammit!"

I decided to intervene.

"Uh, having some trouble there?"

"Yeah" he said, laughing lightly. "I can't get this bloody register open. This is like, the fifth time this is happening today"

He then looked up at me and held my gaze for sometime.

I laughed and reached over the counter, hitting the register hard with my fist.
It opened instantly.

His eyes widened as looked from me to the register, then back at me.

I shrugged, my smile never leaving my face.

"Starbucks is my second home. I basically know everything there is to know about it. Including the fact that they always have faulty registers. I don't know if that's a curse or something"

He laughed under his breath again. "Thanks"

I waited for him as he went to get my iced tea, and all I could think of was his butt.

Sue me, I stole a glance while he walked away to get my iced tea.

"One Swedish berry iced tea for you" he announced with a small smile, ad he handed me the cup.

Our hands brushed against each others and he held my stare, once again.

Just as I was about to debate with myself and look away, he spoke up.

"These machines are really faulty"

"Then you're lucky I'm a regular at Starbucks then"

"That I am" he replied, flashing me a grin. "See you soon?"

"Sooner than you think -" I squinted down at his name tag "- Mikey"

His eyes widened yet again, but then he looked down at his name tag and let out a quiet "Oh".

I laughed and winked at him, waving.

I got home with a dreamy smile on my face, and I even forgot to yell my signature "I'm hooooome"

"Who are you? Get out before I call the ..... Adrien?"

The sight of Jasmine with a bat, should naturally have made me fall to the floor with laughter, but all I could do, was to sigh dreamily, and collapse on to the bean bag.

"Uh, Adrien are you okay?"

I giggled and looked at her "Uh huh"

She felt my pulse. "Your body doesn't feel too hot. So why are you all giggly and dreamy eyed?"

"I've see the man of my dreams" I sighed, pulling her tiny body closer to me and snuggling into it.

But then I pulled away soon enough, because she stank.

"Dude you stink. Have you ever showered?"

She laughed out loud. "Now that's the Godmother I know.
And no, I haven't had a bath in three days"

I scrunched my face up in disgust.

"Okay that's just disgusting Jas, just repulsive"

She laughed again as I got up and walked far away from her.

I threw my book bag on the floor, and freed my body from every item of clothing.

As I drifted off to sleep,  all I could think of was how to get Jasmine to do my calculus homework.

Oh, and about the Starbucks boy, we would meet again, really soon.

Hey guys,

How do you like this one?

It's nothing really, but we'll soon get to the good part.

I don't have an updating schedule, and I'm writing this straight from my head.

So forgive me for late updates and awful plots.
