ALINA'S POV

The three of us end up in a small plane, accompanied by a SHIELD agent that I've never seen before, but that Nat seems to be acquainted with. He's driving, with Nat in the seat beside him; which leaves Steve and I to sit in the back and sort out some kind of attack plan until we reach Loki's current location: Stuttgart. However, that quickly turns into a life discussion.

"So, how long have you been working here for?" he asks me, leaning over with his elbows resting on his knees, from the seat opposite mine. "Since I was sixteen, really, but I haven't been here for four years because I did something bad and Fury didn't trust me anymore." I reply, shrugging, because I'm pretty sure that he'll take something like that seriously.

"I bet the whole place went insane, finding a girl with wings. That's not something SHIELD come across every day, as far as I know." he laughs, and I sigh, shrugging again and leaning back in my seat, resting my hands behind my head.

"Yes, it was a bit crazy, when I first arrived. A whirlwind of people, something that I definitely wasn't used to, back then." I add, my eyes widening a little before they direct straight to the floor. I hardly realise what I've said, and I hope that he won't ask more on that subject; I don't exactly want to talk about it.

Luckily, Steve stays quiet, without further comment, and we make it all the way to Germany in a comfortable silence. And then Nat rocks up and shouts "alright you two, we need you on the ground, Loki's down there at the moment. Wait for the right time, and then ambush him. He seems stupid enough; I don't think he'll realise that we're here."

I jump to my feet, right behind Steve, who is already halfway to the door, armed with a parachute and his infamous shield. I take the two swords from the straps across my back, and start towards the opening door, too, waiting until Steve has made his jump before stepping out behind him. Of course, I don't need a parachute: I have wings for that.

I feel them unfurl before I notice them towering above me, black feathers, hard as steel, ruffling in the wind. The floor meets with my feet and I land as gracefully as humanly (or well, human-with-wings-ly) possible, retracting them back into myself and rolling across the German tarmac. I have landed behind the home of the scientist that Loki must be targeting; but everyone who was inside is now outside, leaving the home free to investigate.

I dive to the left to avoid being seen by a security guard, and then kick the glass out of one of the first floor windows, climbing inside the house. I seem to have materialized on some kind of balcony, overlooking a large banquet-type hall with a man laying over the top of a large stone statue in the centre of it, seemingly passed out.

And then I see the instruments scattering the floor, which must have been left by an orchestra of some kind. Smiling to myself, I vault over the balcony and start towards one of the violins.

STEVE ROGERS'S POV

When Loki points his sceptre towards the old man in the middle of the crowd, I know what I have to do. I run through the people, holding out my shield and hoping to God that the force from the sceptre hits that instead of the man. Judging by the annoyed shouts, it hit the shield.

I roll up on to my feet, and turn to face the invading God of mischief. "You know, the last time I was in Germany, I saw one guy standing above all the others, much like right now. And we ended up disagreeing."

"Ahh, the soldier." he muses, stepping forwards, with his sceptre still held out in front of him to defend any attacks, regal air of authority showing just how much of an arrogant bastard he is "The man out of time." he smirks, laughing to himself.

"I'm not the one out of time." I retort. I think Loki is about to say something else, but then he is completely distracted by something, and turns around, with his back to me.

Alina steps out of the front door of the house, no weapons drawn; just a violin in one hand and the bow in the other, playing a tune that sounds familiar, although I'm not sure where it's from. What on Earth is she doing? Does she want to get herself killed!

I step forward, hoping to catch their conversation. And then Loki turns back around, laughing. "I think the orchestra is missing one of their violinists." his voice is mocking, full of sarcasm. I want to punch him all the way back to Asgard.

"Now, go and stand over there with the rest of your crowd, and be sure to kneel like the rest of them, I don't want to hurt you, princess." he instructs her, in the most patronizing way I think I've ever heard anyone say anything. And then he sees Alina's face; looking like she's about to burst into fits of laughter, and his own expression darkens. "Ermm, thanks, but no thanks." she says, throwing the violin up into the sky and dropping the bow. And then her eyes fall on me, and I think I just about notice her wink at me.

"You mewling quim!" Loki roars, moving closer towards her as he shouts "I am a God, and you will obey me, mortal!"

She merely laughs. "Well, I'm sorry to say this, but, I don't believe in God." she smirks, and in a blur of movement, the violin falls back into her hands. The other hand closes across the fingerboard, and she swings it straight at Loki's face. I can't even contain my surprise, nor my laughter as the instrument connects with his cheek and he falls to his knees before her.

And then she does something that makes the whole crowd erupt into cheers. She stands to the side of the fallen God, presents him to the people, and laughs "Look who's kneeling now."

ALINA'S POV

I just about manage to jump out of the way, before the force of Loki's sceptre connects with what would have been my chest, spreading my wings and taking off up towards the plane where Nat and the other agent are. I hear her voice over the loudspeaker "Loki, drop the weapon n-" but she doesn't get to finish her sentence, because Loki gets to his feet, and sends a jet of blue light flying towards the plane.

And then, suddenly, music is being played over the loudspeaker; very loud music. In fact, it's.....AC/DC....

Oh, Stark, you really are a show off. Have to make an entrance, don't you.

Within a few seconds, Loki is completely knocked off his feet, and Iron Man is flying down to meet us. "Make your move, reindeer games." he says, poised to attack Loki, who is now cowering back into the small wall surrounding the front garden of the house, arms above his head.

"Stark." I say, walking up behind him.

"Good evening Raven." he says, in a mock British accent, as he always does when greeting me, because he's always found it somewhat amusing to imitate the way I speak. But I'm not in the mood to get pissy at him today: he's just caught us our enemy. Nice one, Tony.

LOKI'S POV

I thought I'd never see those eyes again; thought I'd never again witness that laugh.

But I have.

It's her. She may not know it yet, but it is.

It can't be anybody else.

NOTE: I'm trying to get this written fairly quickly, because this first bit is a little boring, but yeah there's something going on here and I've tried not to make it obvious but it probably is hahaha oh well you'll find out soon enough :) SORRY FOR THE POV CONFUSION ARGH IT JUST NEEDED TO HAPPEN I APOLOGIZE!
