Shade

The darkness comes over me
It takes my soul out of me
It rips my heart out without remorse
It makes my head spin
It's makes me feel different
Darker
The darkness eats at me
Until I become a shell of what I was
I'm just a shell
An empty carcass
What happened to the light
It got covered by the shade
The shade that eat away at everything I cared for
No one is safe from the shade
I can't find the light anymore
It's fading away into the horizon
It's too far to reach for the thing I lost so long ago
As the darkness settles in I realize
There is no way out
I'm devoured by the dark
Good bye light
Let's try again another day
