""No", I screamed as I rushed into the forest after Sara, "Come back!"

Thorns snagged my cloths making me struggle. Branches whipped my face and arms.

I ignored the pain and kept myself going by muttering, "Do it for Sara. Do it for Sara. Do it for Sara. Do it for... "

"SARA!"

There in a small clearing in the woods I saw her, in her tattered green dress. She was kneeling over a small rock.

"Sara!" I cried, rushing over to her, "Why did you ru-" I stopped mid sentence as I heard her rambling strange words.

As she turned to the northern side of the forest, I caught a glimpse of her face. What I saw scared me. Her usually kind face had a hideous grimace on it. Her dark green eyes had a reddish tint to them.

Then a horrible thought raced through my mind, 'Could this be my fault? Did I drive my sister mad?'

"Hahaha, Yes it is your fault", snarled "Sara" in a deep ,grinding metal, voice, "But I'm not crazy"

"How can this possibly be my fault?"

"You angered me and made me go into sacred territory!"

"But I didn't do THIS to her... right?"

"Oh THIS. Yes, I did make a few changes but you sparked the whole thing."

"Wh-wh-what d-did y-you d-d-d-do to my sister", I stuttered to "Sara".

"Me?" she snarled back in mock surprise, "Don't forget I am your sister and this is still YOUR fault James."

"You are NOT my sister!"

"Technically you're right. I am Sonoma or at least I was. But I am in your sister's body now."

"Wait! How do you... What did.... Who are you then?" I said flabbergasted, "and what did you do to Sara?"

"Wow, you are stupider than your sister thought you were! I am not petty little Sara, but one of the most powerful souls alive!"

Realization hit me like an upper cut and I stumbled backwards, " How... You... You're a windigo, aren't you?"

"Yes you impudent fool" cackled my possessed sister, "I am a windigo!"

"But... But... But how?", I questioned.

"See this rock?" she said haughtily, gesturing to the stone in front of her, "It is a grave stone of a windigo that was killed by the natives. I was that windigo and so I waited until I possessed your weak sister as she ran into the woods. Then I led her to this grave and transformed her into a windigo."

I looked at the stone and saw the the crude Indian carvings. There were spirals, arrows and strange human-like creatures.

"How could you do this to Sa-", I exclaimed, but was interupted by my "sister".

"HOW MANY TIMES MUST I TELL YOU!?" she shrieked, "I AM NOT SARA! I AM SONOMA! Now, the cheif wants to talk to you."

"I'm afraid I already met him and I never want encounter him EVER again!" I shouted back at her.

"Okay", she said darkly, "We can do this the easy way or the hard way"

"Hahahahahaha", I laughed at her. Sara's not strong enough to do anything to me, "You think you can harm me?! I would have you beat in under a minute."

"Oh, we'll see if you can beat me!"

I ran at her with a fallen branch in my hand. With supprising speed she dodged my strike. She turned around and hit me square in the chest with her bare hands. With a resonating "CRACK!" I heard a two of my ribs snap.

When I landed a thought raced through my mind, 'Wow, maybe I shouldn't pick on Sara so much or she'll pound my face inward with a rock.'

I tried getting up and winced in pain. "This is going to make things a lot worse", I muttered to myself.

"Yes it is", said Sonoma. She grinned, showing off a mouth full of sharp, deadly teeth.

She picked me up and threw me a ten feet into the air. I hit a massive pine tree with a loud thunk. The last thing I remembered before lost conscious is Sonoma's gruesome face scowling down at me.
