Charlotte's POV:

I was really throwing myself into the blinds preperation.

At first all I worked on was the drumming.

Soon i got it in perfect sewuence with the rest of the instruments.

Then it was Mum's and Andy's turn to oplay coach.

Andy came around every day to help me prepare for my insane audition. To be honest i am not that bothered if i do not get through the blinds. I have something to fall back on and that is my English and Spanish studies. I'm taking both at college and need to obtain the highest grades to do a joint Spanish and English course at Uni.

So if anything this is a distrsction from what is really important.

"CHARLOTTE DAWN HEWER! YOU PAY ATTENTION!" Ma shouted.

I jumped out of my reverie.

"Sorry Ma," I said sheepishly.

"Its quite alright just pay attention.," She said.

"Right then Live Like We're Dying. What is the meaning?" Ma asked.

"To grab life by the neck and live life to its fullest. To live life like there is going to be no tomorrow!" I answered.

"Very good... Now ... Next question," Ma said.

I groaned.

It went on and on and on like that.

But it made me know he song like the bafk of my hand. All those questions made me actually SING the song.

So two weeks went by and the Blinds were looming ever closer.

I knew Live Like We Were dying so well i could tell you every pitch change and every note.

I have also made it my own too.

Me and Andy decided it would be better if I sang The first and second verse then the chorus and then the bridge before ending on a very long note.

So i did that.

First verse

second verse

chorus

bridge

long note.

When my Uncle and Aunt came round they got masks of all the coaches and made them put it on. Andy was always Danny. Ma was Will. Auntie was Jessie and Uncle was Tim.

But Andy never turned.

"Andy why aren't you turning?" Ma asked.

"Because i dont wanna give her false impressions. I know nothing about music. I don't wanna turn around to what i think is amazing when the coaches may not find it so," Andy said.

"Andy! You're supposed to make her feel more confident," Ma and Auntie scolded.

"He is right though," I said and walked out.

I sat on the steps outside of my house.

The door opened and someone sat down next to me.

I looked up.

Andy.

"Hey there hun. What's up?" He asked putting an arm around me.

"Am i even good enough?" I asked.

Andy's eyes went wide.

"Of course ye are. Ye know i would have told you by now if i didn't believe you could do it," Andy said.

"But can I go the whole way?" I asked.

Andy looked thoughtful for a couple of seconds.

"My ealier statement still stands," He said.

I smiled.

I got up. Helped Andy up. Then went back inside.

"Let's do this," I said.
