(Forever and Always by Parachute. Be prepared for a tear jerker. I sobbed when I listened to the song.)

(Y/N) covered her ears, tears retreating to her eyes. She was sp confused. She loved one of them, she was sure of it. All attention was on her, some eyes greedily scanning her. She glared at the certain countries, grunting. She had enough of this nonsense.

"This isn't fair, you know that right? You're all fighting over me like I'm the front seat of your mom's mini van!" She yelled, clenching her fists. "I'm giving you all one chance to try and woo me..." She stomped off, going to get (F/F).

Murmuring was heard, and all she could think was how stupid of a choice she just made. All those nations giving her gifts, saying poems and such.

I just want to settle down with someone... I don't want this anymore.

The thought pounded in her head, slowly eating the food before her. (C/N) wanted someone to love her, and to always love them back. Was that wrong? Wrong to be loved?

Slouching in frustration, footsteps were heard behind her. She didn't want it to be someone recklessly throwing themselves at her feet. (Y/N) just slouched further, spotting a friendly Italian.

"Hiya bella!" He calls, tilting his head to the side. She just nods, as if greeting him. "I hope-a you're not offended, I'm-a backing out of the little competition you-a said." He twirled a fork in the pasta.

"W-what? You think I'm some sort of tramp?" She asks warily, shaking. "I-I understand if you do..."

"Bella, you've-a got it all-a wrong! I know some-a one who loves-a you more than any-a one I know." He slipped the noodles into his mouth, chewing quickly in attempt to get more in his mouth.

"Who?" She asked curiously, biting her red lip. It was natural for her to be this curious, and cautious too.

"(C/N), tsk tsk! You shouldn't-a ruin a surprise!" Italy giggled, skipping away. (Y/N) clenched a fist. God, who was it?

Later that day, she took her keys, unlocking the door to her room in the 4 star hotel. She flopped down on the bed, shaking. It was so cold in Russia, why a world meeting here? In the middle of winter, too?

Finally, she looked around at her surroundings, pulling in a sharp breath. The room was scattered with red roses, the thorns pricked off. A note lay on the chair, pink lettering of her name on the front. Picking it up, she sat up, opening it.

"A rose for everyday I've loved you. Go to the balcony." It ordered, and she did so, seeing another note with red cursive this time. "I was matching up the stars with the reasons I loved you... but I ran out of stars. The nurse downstairs is waiting," The anonymous author had written.

In the nurses area, there was another note, the color of the print black. "I think I need a band-aid. I scraped my knee falling for you." (Y/N) giggled at the cliche pick up line. "Go to the bar." She quirked an eyebrow, then ran, holding the three notes tight.

There at the end stood another note, green signifying it was for her. "My buddies and I made a bet that I couldn't start a conversation with most beautiful girl here. Want to buy some drinks with their money?"

Once again, she laughed. "Go to the stairs." She led herself the the staircase, which had white font as her name. "You've just made me fall, I'm going to need your name and number for insurance purposes."

She followed orders, going to the gazebo with a plaque. R.I.P. (Insert name here). Her bottom lip began quivering, and she picked up the silver written note. "Hey, don't frown. You never know who might be falling in love with your smile."

Once again, she was racing the hallways of the hotel. She found herself in the laundry room. SHe spotted a blue note, and she scooped it up. "Let's make fabric softener and Snuggle! Enough with these little notes that you're probably giggling over. Meet me at the park across the street." She sighed. Who was she looking for?

Once she got to the playground, she spotted him. Blue eyes, wavy blonde hair tied back half way, slim body, purple jacket enveloping him. He turned, spotting (C/N).

"Ah! Mon cheri, you made it." He smiled.

Francis Bonnefoy.

"Francis?" She seemed surprised, yet touched. "You did this?" She stepped forward, pressing her head into his chest and wrapping around him for warmth. "Thank you..."

He tilted her chin up, biting his lip. "I normally don't do this, but you're not a normal occasion. May I kiss you?" France asked politely. She nodded. Their lips connected, a sweet spark flying between the two. She felt pure bliss. It had been him the whole time...

~Time Skip!!!~

France shoved the box in his pocket, hurrying to the car. God, he was so late... Shaking, he got in the car, turning the corner. He honked the horn when the car in front of him wouldn't move. It slowly began moving, and he followed close behind, eager to get to (Y/N). Suddenly, he felt a force of impact, and a sharp cracking noise came from his chest, where he gasped for breath. He fell unconscious, shaking. "I'm sorry..."

~~~~
She rushed into the room, leaving the nurse hanging mid hallway. She ran forward, heels clicking as she held him close. Countries entered slowly, showing their appreciation for France. Shakily, he grabbed the coat by the bedside, rumaging through pockets. He pulled a box from the bottom left area, opening it to reveal the ring.
"I-I love you... Je'taime... Please, (Y/N), will you marry me?" He croaked out. She hugged him again, choking on words. He was going to propose to her... That's why he was late. That's why he was rushing. That's why he was here. She broke into sobs, nodding as she got the idea.
"We'll get married now." She finally spoke, calling the nurse up. She asked for a priest, and the people across the hall heard the situation, letting them borrow their rings.
"Angleterre? Will you be my best man?" He asked, wincing slightly at the shifting. England seemed shocked, but he accepted quickly.
The priest began the ceremony, where tears fell as they talked about their future, and how they would grow old together. Everyone was crying, and the younger nations clutched to the older ones.
Once it was done, they kissed sweetly, one last time. He pulled away, noticing the beeping on the monitor slowing.
"I love you forever, forever and always
Please just remember even if I'm not there
I'll always love you, forever and always." He says, and the line goes dead silent.
