(Modern)Altair x reader 'swimming lessions'

"Altair you can't get over your fear of water if you're in that tree" You yelled out to your friend. Today you decided to help Altair get over his strange fear of water (I can't judge because I have a fear of ants😓... I did not need to tell you that😳) , by taking him to the beach, with your two brothers Malik and Kadar. (A/n I'm not sure if spelt his name right) Even though Malik and Altair aren't very fond of each other, you had a feeling that you might need some extra hands.

Many people gave questioning looks as they walked by Altair clinging to the tree, as if his life depended on it (a/n actually now that I think about it, he is technically clinging to the tree as if his life depended on it) You were starting to get really impatient with him, especially when he started to climb up higher in the tree so he could sit down comfortably on a branch. A bunch of women walked by giggling and whispering about Altair, and Altair the doofus who's been hanging out with Ezio, started sending them flirtatious looks, which as much as you hated to admit got you a bit jealous. "Altair Ibn la ahad you get down from that tree this instant" You growled this time getting Altairs attention once you used his full name.

Altair slowly and cautiously climbed down the tree with Kadar's duck floaty still around his waist (a/n Kadar is like 5 here all three of you are like in your early 20s between 20-25)
"(Y/n) I want to go swimming" Kadar begged as he wrapped his small frame around your leg trying to get your attention.

"Ok but you can only go, if you have your floaty. Then you can make Malik go in with you, since I have to deal with Altair ok?" Kadar nodded his head in agreement before going over to your older brother, who was being an absolute anti social moth as he read his book. "Malik get off your lazy butt and swim with Kadar!" You yelled making him jolt up in shock sending the chair he was sitting falling to the side.

"Do I have to give the floaty away?" Altair questioned, you only needed to give him one threatening look before he handed the floaty to Kadar, who ran into the water with Malik.

"Ok let's go in slowly" you said gently holding his hand as you lead him to the water. Each time you got closer Altair's grip got tighter.

"(Y/n) I-I'm scared what if I drown?"  He whimpered, never in your life had you seen Altair so innocent it was adorable, the big scary assassin was now a little scared novice.

"Close your eyes and imagine something that's really important to you, it can be something you love or something that made you laugh" You began only to be cut of as, Altair started describing something or someone he loved.

"Ok she has (h/s) (h/c), (e/c) beautiful eyes her smile shines as if she used the sun for lip gloss, she is the kindest, most funniest and most breathtaking person ever to walk on this earth"

You were blushing mad as Altair continued talking about you, well you hoped it was you unless he knows a woman with the exact same hair style, hair and eye colour. You didn't want him to stop but you already reached up to your waist in water. "Ok Altair now open your eyes"

You watched intensely as he slowly opened his eyes at first you thought he was taking this really well, that was until he screamed in horror then jumped into your arms burying his head in your chest. "A-Altair I don't think I can hold onto you any longer". And as if right on time, you fell back into the water Altair falling on top of you. He quickly pulled you up carrying you bridal style whilst running out of the water.

"I can't believe it I did it" He smiled proudly, keeping his breath steady and letting his heart beats go back to normal.

"Well technically you did but you're still scared of the- mph!" you were cut of by Altair slamming his lips onto yours as you gladly melted into it. "Woah did you mean that or were you just trying to shut me up?".

"Both" He smirked slyly before leaning in for the kiss again, which was annoyingly interrupted.

"NOVICE PUT MY SISTER DOWN!" Malik yelled while running towards us with Kadar following closely behind.

"NEVER YA BOOK WORM!" And with that Altair ran away from Malik, you still in his arms laughing with tears brimming your eyes.

(A/n hey guys I'm so sorry it took me so long to update, last week was really full on, firstly because it was the last week of the term and secondly we had this "grow week" thing.

I hope you liked the chapter I'm also thinking about doing drawings for the book, the one in this chapter is not mine I just found it hilarious😋

Arno: I can't believe how scared you are of water 😂

Altair: it's not funny 😡 You Baguette eating F***k boy.

Me: ALTAIR IBN LA AHAD LANGUAGE! THAT IS VERY RUDE OF YOU! Remember what I told you about swearing in my book.

Altair: oh please your only saying that because Arno here is loved more then any of us

Me: actually Top hat (Jacob frye) is my number 1, then Captain Sparrow (Edward Kenway) is 2nd on my list and then everyone else in third, but that doesn't mean I don't love the rest of you

Altair: JACOB FRYE! WTF AUTHOR!

Me: I said no swearing why can't you use "WTH(what the hell) or Mother kisser (for all you f.r.i.e.n.d.s lovers out there) or son of a greedy pig.

Altair: He's a son of greedy pig that mother kisser. *silently enjoying the phrases*

Me:Would it make you feel better if I told Arno to say sorry?

Altair:...yes

Me: well Arno

Arno: oh come on author he's afraid of water. The thing that the majority of your blood is made out of and water does take up most of the world

Altair: *quietly cries in my hair* (my hair is so big and curly It almost looks like a brunette version of Merida's hair from Brave).

Me: you know what since you won't apologise then I'll just have  to do the next chapter about your fear... Arno . Victor . Dorian

Arno: oh and what is that?

Me: *smiles mischievously* losing reader in the next chapter... Hey where did he go?

Arno:*runs away to find reader*

Me: nah I'm just kidding i won't kill reader in next chapter, I'll only make him think that.

P.s it's going to be part 2 of 'to be loved'.

P.p.s I got inspired by using "son of a greedy pig" on a project we were doing in maths called greedy pig and since I don't like swearing I replaced "female dog" with greedy pig and if there are other people who does the same thing ✋(cyber air high five)
