Edward x Reader 'a pirate hunters crush'

Megans POV
What does it really mean to be a pirate, why do people become pirates and what outcome does one get from piracy? I've repeated those same words over and over again in my head, and never had I ever gotten a straight answer. Being the daughter of a pirate hunter, i've been brought up to hate those drunken sailors. My father taught me all that he knew about being a pirate hunter, I made a promise to my father, that I would become so feared to all pirates that they'd fear my name. I Margaret Kate Williams, shall clean the sea for the greater good of the human civilisation.

3rd persons POV

"Megan are you sure this a good idea I mean we are going to be in a pirate infested city" Micheal questioned, while waiting for Ashley to finish fixing his pirate outfit.

"If you stick with the plan then everything shall be hunky dory" you said as you pulled your long dark hair in a high pony tail being held together by a blue ribbon. Amelia walked in to the large cabin that consisted with black and blue furniture, which is your favourite colour. Smiling happily as she and Shababa didn't have to dress up in dirty cloths.

"We'll see if that smile is still on your face once you clean all this"  Ashley threatened as you tried to hold back a laugh. The smile on Amelia's face quickly faded, she turned to you with pleading eye's hoping what Ashley said was a joke. You gave her one of your signature 'your problem' face.

"Are you guys ready to go?" Shababa asked from the other side of the door. Ashley, Micheal and yourself walked out onto the deck uncomfortable with the itchy clothes.

"Remember the plan if anyone notices my ship go, don't worry if we're not on it, as long as you go to the place I showed you on the way here, we will find you" Both Shababa and Amelia nodded their heads  giving you a mocking salute. As the three of you headed off you were absolutely shocked once you got a better view of the other ships that were docked.

"Megan do you see what I see?" Micheal asked excitedly as he shook your arm furiously. There you could see that Black beard, Calico Jack, Charles Vane and Benjamin Hornigold. All together at the bar drinking. It was shocking to say the least seeing some of the most notorious (a/n heh I think that's how spell notorious 🤔 ahem sorry back to the story) and blood thirsty pirates all laughing and getting drunk.

"Megan this could be our chance" Ashley whispered in your ear trying not to seem suspicious. Together you all approached the bar. While Ashley and Micheal tried to find the closest table to the pirates but far enough to not look shifty. You continued to check your surroundings, planning different escape routes in case there is the need to leave in speed. You being so focoused on the structure of the building, you hadn't thought about paying attention to the people in the bar.

When you started walking to the table Ashley picked you accidentally rammed into someone, you felt yourself falling backwards  but you never came in contact with the floor, your Forest green eyes shot up and started falling into a trance once they met the sea blue ones of the man you bumped into. "You ok lass?" The man asked kindly his thick Welsh accent showing strongly.

A faint blush came across your face as you noticed that he was still holding you. 'Wait what am I doing he's a bloody pirate pull yourself together Megan' you yelled at yourself. You quickly pulled away from him, he had a small frown on his face because of the reaction you gave him "um I'm fine thanks" You said quickly while walking past him and to the table where your friends were.

You didn't notice that the man was still looking at you as you walked away. "Jesus Christ Megan do you know who that was!?" Ashley exclaimed quietly looking over your shoulder you saw the man from before looking at you. When he noticed you were looking back he a threw you a quick wink before turning around again only allowing you to see his long sandy blonde hair.

"Ain't that guy Edward Kenway?" Michael wondered before chugging the rest of his rum. 'His name is known but never had I seen him I mainly knew of the rumours about him like the rumours of his as they say "Angelic" looks but never did I expect him look that gorgeous and be so gentlemen like maybe, just maybe pirates weren't so bad after all'
You thought quietly to yourself.
