Author's POV
Leaving Lavanya and Virat at the corridor Jacky headed towards his office suite, he stormed into his office and started breathing loudly. Looking to somewhere not in particular inside the room he walked from one corner to another. Suddenly, he threw his mobile phone on the floor and then he started throwing his files and papers everywhere inside the office.
It was a very grief moment for him, he couldn't understand what to do so he smashed everything inside his office suite. For next fifteen minutes, he was only propelling stationary here and there. The anger he had right now in his blood and heart for Virat and Lavanya was showing in his behaviour. He punched the walls & also slammed his hands on his work desk many times.
"No!!" He shouted and crashed everything that came into his vision. He wanted to break everything the way he felt broken inside.
He knew this was not maturity, this won't help him feel better but it was his instant reaction and outburst after seeing Lavanya with Virat. He had no idea that Lavanya would say 'I love you' to Virat. He thought Lavanya loved him but as soon as he realized that he was wrong, it broke him from inside. He got to know that it was his misconception that the girl he loved so much also loved him.
"Aah!!!" He was feeling this pain inside his heart, he clenched his chest. "Why did you do this to me, love; why?" He screeched painfully and knelt down near the couch resting his left arm on one of its armrests. He cried like a small child wiping his tears again and again with loud sobs because no one witnessed it.
On the other hand, Lavanya had no idea what was going on inside his boss's office. She thought it was the best decision she took and it was the right time to take a smarter decision rather than over-thinking about a teenage kind of feeling. Virat was really happy and this made Lavanya more confident that she had a perfect resolution because she knew that this would make everyone happy, even her parents.
"I love you, Lavanya!" Virat expressed. "I can't explain how much happy I am right now!" He let go of Lavanya and smiled brightly looking down at her.
Lavanya gave a suppressed smile. "I know, I can see that."
"Okay, I need to invite my friends to our engagement. I was busy the whole day so I forgot to invite them. I will see you after work; now I have to rush, okay?" Virat asked for Lavanya's permission.
She nodded and smiled at him, she kept watching Virat walking away with excitement, she could see how happy he was and she also realized that she could never make someone happy like this ever again, she thought she should feel lucky that she finally gave some happiness to a person who always have loved her.
I should be proud of myself, I should be feeling lucky that I am born to make someone happy; now it feels like my life is worth living.
She thought.

Lavanya went to her cabin and sat there for some minutes but then she was having this feeling that someone needed her. It was a weird feeling that she was having, so without thinking anything else she took out her lunch box and headed towards her boss's office.
On the way to her boss's cabin she thought. No matter how my relationship is with Mr.Dawson or whatever I have in my heart for him, I will never forget my humanity and my hospitality because it is our culture to serve our guests; I am an Indian & I have learnt this from my parents since childhood. Indians always take care of their guests. I know, I loved Mr.Dawson, I still love him a lot but I shouldn't forget that he is our guest and he is also my friend and I should take care of him like I always did before; nothing should change.
