We soon arrived at a tattoo parlour on the corner of Pitt Street and Sussex Street. It was a nice little parlour, very vintage. When I walked in a lady with bright red hair and tattoos across her chest greeted me.
"Hello, what can we do for you?",
"I would like a tattoo" I said eagerly,
"Of course, that's why you've come to a 'tattoo' parlour", I could see in the corner of my eye that Jaxon was holding back a laugh.
I simply nodded "Oh, yes, if I draw something up are you able to copy it?",
"That's why I have this job, dear. I'm able to draw what you want",
"Yes, of course".
The lady passed me a notebook mad a pen and I began to scribble several ideas until I had one that was quite simple but it meant something to me. I passed her the notebook with my complete drawing.
"Follow me",
I followed the lady into a room which had a bed right in the middle of it.
"Take a seat. Where would you like it?" she questioned me,
"Ring finger, right hand please".
Jaxon soon walked into the room with a smile on his face,
"Are you nervous at all, love?",
"Extremely",
"Oh, don't over react!" Said the lady with the red hair "Its not even as half as bad as what you think it is".
Jaxon placed his hand out for me to grab, "Hold on?" he smiled.
"Holding on" I returned grabbing his hand.
The lady started drawing onto my skin with a needle, it hurt but not as bad as what I thought it would. Once this was done there was no turning back, I would definitely not be having laser removal done. After around thirty minutes it was done , the lady had instructed me to shower with hot water and if the scab falls off don't stress, she also provided me with some cream to disinfect as well as soothe it.
Jaxon and I were now walking in unknown streets, he soon stopped and turned to me.
"I haven't seen your tattoo yet" he stated. I then gave him my hand and he inspected my ring finger.
"A sad face?" He questioned.
"A sad face" I stated.
"What's it mean?",
"Put it this way. We are all sad teens with happy faces, just trying to find a place to get away. "Everyone is broken" my voice drifts off into a different place other than my body "They try to act like they aren't", my eyes meet his strong blue ones, "It's basically a mask that people aren't willing to take off", I sighed and stared at the ground.
"Fuck, that was deep",
"Don't swear!" I shouted and whacked his shoulder,
"What?, ok sorry",
"It's fine just don't swear",
"Why?",
"It's simply rude profanity",
"Fair enough" he laughed.
I rolled my eyes and continued walking, I should return back to school for my last period but then again I really wanted to stay with him.
"Can we go back to school?" I questioned,
"Sure I guess",
"So how does your game work, what's the objective exactly?",
"It is to make you feel and do things you haven't before",
"Good and bad?",
"Positive and negative, baby" he said bitterly.

Soon enough we arrived at school and everyone was already in the cafeteria, I walked over to my group departing Jaxon.
"Where have you been?" Link questioned with an agitated tone,
"Orphanage stuff",
"Bullshit" he said angrily "Why were you just with Jax?",
"He's a friend, Link",
"A friend" he chuckled to himself,
"A friend, Link. I can have friends, male friends" I stated,
"Sure you can. Just not him",
"Don't be silly Link, you already know that you have no power over me. I suggest we don't do this here" I stated then kissed his cheek and turned on my heel to walk away.
I saw Jax sitting on his own at a table,
"Hey" I smiled.
"You don't need to hang around me all day",
"Oh, of course, I just, you know",
"No I don't know", he hopped up and left the table.

I simply smiled to myself and carried on to my next class which was with Mr Porter. Link was in that class and I could tell he wasn't happy, he kept staring at me. I composed myself as usual and ignored it, carrying on with answering as many questions possible and acing any sheets given out.

The bell soon rang and I rushed out of the classroom. I eventually arrived at my locker, I unlocked it, only to find a letter, meet me tomorrow afternoon at 12:11pm at the park. There was only one person in which could've written this and it was Link. Link was so precise with his times, never late, never early, just on time. He always did things like this when we had disagreements. Luckily, he knows that I'm not as packed out on Saturdays so I'll be able to make it. Jax came up right next to my locker,
"Meet me tomorrow?",
"When?",
"3:00 at mine, good?",
"Perfect", I smiled. He quickly walked away,
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow" I shouted.
He continued walking but waved his hand in the air letting me know he understood.
