Sunday was a bliss. I patched things and talked to Nathan about the things that may have led to my behaviour from, not only yesterday, but Friday to. Things were sorted and I was back on track to working off my punishment. I even managed to get a deal out of him: If I behaved for the rest of the week, I could go to Skylar's birthday. I told the girls when I got to school Monday morning.
"So he said yes?" Scarlet questioned
"Yeah, but I can't do anything stupid. Not even the slightest thing, because he will turn around and say no."
"Why? I mean didn't you fix things with him?" Skylar queried, looking completely confused.
"Well, I did... but um, Jessica; his sister came and at the worst time. I was in a crappy mood and managed to annoy her then said a few things that I shouldn't have and... Nathan came home early and heard every, single, word. I continued to argue with him over my punishment which didn't do me any favours... So yeah, I pissed him off again." I said with a stupid look on my face, which I don't know how to describe. It was like a small, stupid smile, wide eyes and nodding slightly. I dropped the look knowing I looked ridiculous and Skylar spoke again.
"Well, we can help you stay out of trouble"
"Ha, yeah right. Sorry to break it to you Sky but, I'm practically grounded and have nothing to do. I can, and most likely will manage to get myself into some sort of trouble and get on Nath's nerves."
"Well don't. Don't piss him off and mess this up." Scarlet hissed. I held my hands up in surrender, playing it off, but inside I was questioning what had gotten into her. She's been acting weird all morning. It's nothing like the Scarlet I know.

*3PM – Dismissal*
Scarlet and I hopped onto the bus and sat at the back per normal. She was still in a weird mood. The bus wasn't as full as it usually was which gave me a great opportunity to talk to her.
"Scar, you've been acting strange all day. Want to tell me what's going on?"
"Yeah, but you're sworn to secrecy. And not here."
"Okay... then where?"
"My house."
"Scar I can't I- "
"Do you want to know or not?"
"Well yeah but- "
"Make you choice. Get off in a minute or so to go home or stay on and come with me."
"I, uh..." I didn't know what to do. I can't be late home but I really want to find out what's up with Scarlet. I had to make a snap decision, the bus stopped where I am supposed to get off. "I'm sorry Scarlet, but I can't." I ran off the bus before the doors closed, and watched as it left. I could've just as easily stayed on and found out what's wrong but I couldn't. Not unless I want to obliterate my chances of going to Sky's birthday. I got home, and went straight to my room. If this was a cartoon, I'd have a rain cloud above my head following me.
"Alysha? Are you okay?" Jess asked as I past her on the stairs, a worried expression on her face.
"I'm fine." I said quietly and continued to my room, dumped my bag near my desk and fell backwards onto my bed. I stared at the ceiling and took a deep breath. I needed to know what's bugging Scarlet, but I have to do it without putting myself in the path of trouble. That's when I had an idea. I got up and ran downstairs calling out for Jess.
"What's up? Everything okay?"
"It will be if you can do me a favour?"
"Yes, depending on what it is?" She spoke slowly.
