Out of The Shadows

Welcome Back Fun. Punishment Stage 1.

The clock hit three in the afternoon and just as it ticked over the doorbell rang. Scarlet had already been picked up although it wasn't late enough for me to think it could be Nathan so I shrugged it off while I continued drinking my lemonade. It wasn't until Skylar whispered something in my ear that I turned around.

"You didn't mention how hot your cousin is!" I pushed her lightly, got up off my seat and ran over to where he was standing. My arms went around his neck and he easily picked me up and spun me around before returning me to the ground.

"I missed you so much" He said mumbling against my hair, holding me tight.

"I've missed you to. You have no idea." I said looking up at him. We were both smiling and Nath kissed my forehead.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked and I shook my head.

"I've still got some stuff to pack, give me two minutes?" He nodded and I swiftly went to shove all my stuff into my duffle bag. Skylar came in right behind me.

"He's hot! You are so lucky" She said grinning, obviously having a crush on him. But I bet she would change her mind when she knew what he is really like.

"You don't have to put up with his half bipolar behaviour everyday"

"Half bipolar?" She questioned, obviously amused at my choice of words.

"He can be fine for a week and then be moody all weekend." I said truthfully in an exaggerated tone. We both laughed and I zipped my bag. We walked back to everyone else. Nath had his back to me and an evil grin plastered itself on my face. I passed my bag to Skylar and sneaked up behind him. Before I could actually do anything however, he turned around and scared me!

"Hahaha nice try Alysha, but I will always win." He said quiet proud of himself.

"Sure, sure. One of these days it will be my turn" I said poking my tongue out at him like a child.

"And I'll help" Annabella said poking her tongue out at Nathan as well, standing by my side. It was so cute! Everyone laughed and I picked her up. Nathan seemed to watch me and Annabella, clearly amused.

About an hour or so of talking and mucking around later, we said our goodbyes and left. I put my bag in the backseat before hopping into the front. Nath got in the car and backed out of the driveway as I waved to my friend, and her family. I had a lot of fun and really hoped I could do it again.

When the house was out of sight Nathan spoke up. "As much as I am happy to see you and don't want to, you will still be getting punished when we get home."

"I know... can we at least cuddle and spend some time with each other first though? Please?"

"You know you're pushing it right?"

"Yeah but just an hour or something, not even. Please?" I said looking at him pleadingly.

"Alright, on one condition" He says reluctantly.

"Anything" I said really quickly

"You have to have unpacked all your things, have put them where they need to be and have all of your homework done before dinner."

"Easy!" I said happily.

"Hmmm, just no more pushing your luck. Okay?"

"Yeah I know" I said sheepishly. I should've stopped pushing it a long time ago.

At about quarter to five I had unpacked and my stuff was where it belonged. If I can get my Math study done properly in the next let's say thirty minutes, I could have a good half hour to an hour cuddle time with Nathan. Study wasn't necessarily homework but if I wanted to pass my test on Tuesday I had to study as much as I could.
