Chapter 7

"What the fuck, Tanner! My sister out of all the people my sister! I should be hearing this from Zoey not you! You know she hasn't answered any of my texts or calls! I thought she could have been seriously hurt or something! How could you!!" Screamed Zach, then he marched into our room and slammed the door.

"Zach, I just found out. I didn't force her into not telling you!" Tanner screamed back.

He looked at me. He had tears coming down his cheeks. This might have been the first time I have ever seen Tanner cry other than our parents' funeral.

I was still a shocked about what Tanner had said but Zach's reaction was just wow. I didn't think Zach would freak out like that. He usually is so calm and so sweet.

Tanner was just about to get up and leave when I stopped him.

"Let me talk to Zach. He will get over this, trust me." He nodded and then walked out the door, with tears now flooding down his cheeks and not even saying goodbye.

I just had it. I get why Zach was angry and bitter. But that was uncalled for. Tanner didn't know till just a few weeks ago. Then it hit me when we tell Tanner and Caleb that I'm pregnant that's probably how they are going to react. I couldn't help but cry. I didn't want them to freak out, but they probably are. I just kept picturing what there reactions were going to be and every time it just got worse and worse.

Zach's POV

I was pissed and I still am how could Tanner do something like that. I was still kind of mad at Zoey because she didn't even tell me. I should have heard it form her not Tanner.

I heard a door close. Then I heard Sophie crying. Yes I was mad but I had to just let it go cause all this hurt, anger, and stress that is floating around right now is not good for her. So I came out of our room to try and comfort her.

I sat down next to her. "I'm sorry. I was being selfish, this stress and anger isn't good for the baby."

"I get it. That's just how Tanner and Caleb are going to react." She sobbed

I kissed her cheek and rubbed her shoulders. "Look I will call Tanner soon and apologize to him. I should have stayed calm, but I just.." i started but then got cut off.

"I get it. This is big stuff and it's hard. Just think how hard it going to be for your parents when they find out both of their kids are expecting." She slightly laughed.

I gave her a confused look.

"I didn't mean that you were carrying the baby but I mean like that your parents are going to have two grandchildren already and we aren't even married nor is Tanner and Zoey."

I kinda of laughed at the thought of their shocked faces but felt bad for how disappointed they might be.

"Well my Mom's birthday is coming up and my dad wants us over along with Zoey and Tanner. So maybe we could just tell them then."

Sophie nodded. Oh boy this was going to be hectic. I could only hope that everything was going to be ok.

So turns out I wasn't super busy today as I thought I was. I did have to work today and I was supposed to hang out with my friends afterwards but it got canceled. So this short chapter was to make up for the fact that I technically lying to you. And also for the fact I will not be posting tomorrow just because it is Easter and I will be spending time with my family.
