Chapter 11

Zach's POV
              -1 week later-

We were finally taking Sophie home. I had her stay at the hospital, I just didn't want to leave her at home by herself. I took this whole week off from work, and I told my teachers that one of my loved ones wasn't doing really well so I needed to be with them. They were really nice about it to. They are even sending notes to me.

"So your my boyfriend right?" Asked Sophie

"Yes sweetie." I responded kissing her on the top of her head as I wheeled her out to my truck.

"Now we are going to your apartment."

"Yep, and I will show you around." Then I lifted her into my truck. After I shut her door I gave the nurse that was walking with us Sophie's wheelchair. Then I went to my side, got in, put the truck in drive and left.

"Ok this is our apartment."

"Ok." She stated then went to the living room and sat on the couch.

"Are you hungry, Sophie?"

"Yeah I have this weird craving for chocolate and cheese."

I chuckled

"What?"

I walked over to Sophie. Maybe this was the best time to tell her about our baby.

"Look I haven't told you this just because you were going through a lot and you still are. But your baby still wants and loves chocolate."

She gave me a confused look.

"I wanted to tell you right away, but I didn't want you to feel more stressed. Also I didn't want you to tell everyone."

"Ok, so I'm pregnant, which means we are expecting. But I still just don't get one thing."

"What don't you get?"

"Why didn't you want me to tell everyone?"

"That was your wish, when you first told me. You wanted to keep your pregnancy a secret. The only people that know about the baby, is you, me, Zoey and Macy."

She nodded. "Macy was the one that visited me in the hospital and she is my best friend  and Zoey is dating Tanner, who is my brother and Zoey is your sister right?"

"Yeah."

A tear slipped down her cheek.

I wiped it away. "What's wrong Sophie?"

"I feel so stupid, I just can't remember anything. Even the fact that I'm pregnant, you would think I would still be able to at least remember that I'm caring a little human baby, or at least the person who helped create the baby."

"Your not stupid, sweetie! Your very smart and talented."

"I think I'm just gonna go to bed."

I nodded. "Ok, I will let you know when the food is ready."

She nodded and headed off to the office.

"Is there a bed around here or something."

I walked over to her and took her by her arm and brought her over to our bedroom. Then she laid down and fell asleep.

I tucked her in and kissed her on the cheek. Then I walked out into the living room only to see my sister standing there.

"How did you get in here, I though I locked the doors."

"You did lock the doors. Tanner knew I was coming here so he gave me a key." Said Zoey holding up a key.

"Oh, do you need something?"

"I came to check on Sophie, and the baby."

It has been a long week, I was stressing so much about Sophie and making sure she was ok. I forgot about the conversation that Zoey and I had two days before we left the hospital. I did apologize to her. I also told her about the baby, but I did ask her to just keep it a secret. She, at first, really didn't want to keep it a secret but then she just decided to keep it a secret.

"Oh, well she is sleeping right now. She really need the sleep anyways. I can tell it been a stressful week for her and for all of us, and that's not good for the baby."

"Oh, yeah. Can I just hang here for a while. I just haven't seen you in a while."

"Yeah that's fine. So your two in a half months along right?" I asked

"Yeah, just one month ahead of Sophie. Are you guys still gonna go to Mom's birthday party next week?"

"I don't know, it just really depends on how Sophie is doing."

"Oh, well you really don't have to. Mom and Dad will understand. They know you have been going through a lot this past week."

"Yeah I know they would get it but I would still feel like I'm disappointing them if I don't show."

"Yeah, but you have a legitimate reason not to show, and they know that."

I sighed, really just looking to change the topic of conversation. "So are you going to tell them that your pregnant?"

"Yeah. Both me and Tanner decided just to get it over with. If you guys do come will you tell mom and dad?"

"I don't know, I told Sophie that she wanted to keep it a secret but you with this amnesia she might not even care and want to tell everyone. She does know that you, me and Macy know about her pregnancy. So she might just want to tell everyone else."

"Oh, what are you making for supper?" She asked

"Mac and cheese, and then Chocolate for Sophie. Why?"

"Well I don't want to intrude but maybe we should all just here with you and Sophie for moral support. Just me, Tanner, you, Sophie, Macy, and Caleb. If those two aren't busy."

"Yeah that might actually be nice." I will text Caleb and Macy see if they can come. Being the whole family is coming I will make two family size boxes. It should be enough being on a regular day, me and Sophie could barley eat a regular sized box.

Hey guys so there is another chapter. I decided to post this chapter and chapter 10 today because I won't be posting on the weekend.
