If We Switched Bodies For A Day Part One

Naomi's p.o.v

I can't believe it. I had won..THE BIG PRIZE CUP!

Bennett, Jordan, Declan, and I were playing old-fashioned Mario Kart. I had won first place for two out of four games. And the final one, I got first place. Out of the four of us, I won first place, and received the big prize cup. I waved my accomplishment in front of the guys. Bennett was in last place. Jordan was in fourth place. And Declan was in sixth place. I loved playing Mario Kart. It was my childhood. My dad and I used to play all the time till I got a phone. I kind of grew fond of the Wii when I got a phone, but still, I play with it every now and then. 

But this was different. I had never felt so happy about the Wii. It brought me so many great memories! And I had just created one with my best friends. This was amazing. Not only did I win this game, but I kind of owned it. 

I begin to brag off my winnings in front of the guys. "I win!!!!!"

Jordan tossed the controller. "Pft, we let you win Naomi. We thought you couldn't take the loss of your player. Yoshi sucks anyway."

"Hey! Yoshi is the reason why I won! You can't under estimate a dinosaur! And you're getting off point! It doesn't really matter which character you choose, it's the vehicle and the driver's, which means you Jordan, responsibility to uphold the race. You're just a bad driver Jordan. But don't worry, i'll invite you to the after-party to clean up the brag I messed around with."

Okay, I might've over did the commenting, yet this was something big for me. I had never really won in front of the guys. Like for example, I could never beat Bennett with Poker. I could never beat Jordan with C.O.D (Call of Duty if you didn't know) and 2k16 with Declan. They all basically owned those games like they created it. Of course, I knew something was up with C.O.D and Jordan. That's when I found out he was cheating and I never really played with him and C.O.D for a while. 

"Geez Naomi, you don't have to be so happy about it. Mario Kart is just child's play. You only won because this is an easy game." Declan mumbled. 

I ruffled his hair a bit. "Then why didn't you get first place."

He mumbled something and then crossed his arms. "That doesn't mean anything.."

I chuckled. "Bennett, i'm glad you aren't sulking like these two."

He looked at me with his infamous blank face. "I am sulking, but not in a physical way. I just can't believe I lost to a girl who can't beat me in Poker."

Oh lord. 

"FINE! WE'LL DO A RE-MATCH. THIS WINNER IS FOREVER RENOWNED AS THE WINNER AND KING/QUEEN OF MARIO KART." I said, putting my finger in the air as if I were charging forward. 

The guys chuckled and clutched their controllers. 

"Let the games, begin!"

A couple of games later..

"I WIN! AGAIN!" I said, claiming my victory. I had played nearly four full games with the guys, and won every single one of them. I had rubbed my victory in their faces, like every couple of games before. I was so happy that I nearly made the guys cry. 

"NO FAIR!" Jordan pouted. 

"Does anyone else have the feeling she cheated?" Bennett asked. 

"I kind of do. But I do have a feeling of loss." Declan replied. 

"And you guys are the losers!" I said. 

They dropped their controllers and grabbed my phone instantly.
