Chapter Six: Luxuria

I ran across the forest past the city borders towards the village coordinates that Andre sent me before they head out. I still couldn't get what Commander Monday said earlier...

Things that I don't know about myself...? What did she mean by that? Don't I know everything about myself...?

Suddenly my mind was pulled out of my thoughts when I saw a giant boulder about crash into me but I managed to dodge it in time by moving a few spaces back as it landed with a loud thud.

"what the--?"

As I looked up on top of the boulder I saw a black oozed werewolf howling in the heavens as he spotted me. I scoffed and took out my twin pistols Venus and Eros and started firing at the monster with Humility Bullets, since certain monsters require certain bullets. Though having Commander Monday here would certainly be more effective than these because of the fact that these bullets only dealt half a damage of what she can do personally. That was just how these things work.

The creature dodged my attacks and started to run at me on its four legs letting out a huge roar as it made its way to me faster than any normal wolf could.

"And to think you were once human..." I said and started to run off into the woods with it following behind me.

Monsters made of sin. What was once human consumed by their own sin...these were called Sinspawns and everyday it was the Virtues' job to make sure we exorcise every single one of them from infecting other mortals.

I swerved to the left and then the right dodging trees as I ran but the creature only followed my movement dodging the trees as I cursed under my breath. It looked like it was picking up the pace as it got closer to me. Pulling out my guns I risked it and suddenly they turn into twin katanas as I rushed back to the monster pressing a button to immediately coat them in Humility by their blades. As I swung my katanas slicing the monster by the sides as it went down its body burning at the liquid I laced on my katanas and soon no longer was a werewolf standing there but a human as the black ooze left its body and disappeared.

"Thank god that's over...." I said this and immediately my communicator rang and Kaitlyn popped up on the screen.

"Chara darlin'! where are you?! We can't hold them critters off forever ya know! More of them werefolk and succubi been appearin' over here! We need ya darlin'!" she said while fighting a werewolf with her gauntlets.

"I'm almost there Kaitlyn had a bit of a run in with a werewolf..." I said as I closed the conversation and went over to the unconscious mortal. It was a little boy who looked scared as I bent down and gave a reassuring smile. "Hey its ok! I'm here to help so don't be afraid..."

"W-Where's my mama and papa?..." The little boy said as he looked around hoping to see them go out of the bushes or something.

"Don't worry...we'll find your mama and papa ok?" I said in a gentle manner to which he nodded as I carried him on my back. "Hold on tight to me ok?" I said and he nodded keeping his hold on me as I took off towards the direction of the village.

When we reached there I saw my team battling against succubi and werewolves as I looked around for this kid's parents at the same time. Suddenly a werewolf comes out of the bushes and was about to attack us when it was struck on the back by Kaitlyn who managed to hit it in time before it could get to us.

"Nice of you to show up darlin'!~" She gives me a big grin before turning her attention to the child on my back looking at her in awe. "Awww who's this sweet thing?~"

"He got separated from his parents....i need your help finding them..."

"Don't worry sugah!~ I'll find your ma and pa for ya!~" She says putting a thumb to her chest as she winks at the boy and runs off.

"Let's go find your parents little boy..." I say as we walked deeper into the village.

"Mama! Papa!" The little boy whose name was Finn got off my back as he runs over to his parents hugging them close. Kaitlyn managed to find them after defeating them when they were Sinspawns.

"Glad that cutie found his parents!" Kaitlyn says as she gives me a big smile adjusting her cowboy hat.

"Thank you so much for your help Kaitlyn....Where are the others?" I asked her while looking around.

"Right here...~"

When I looked at the source of the voice my mind heart began to beat but not in fear.....i felt....angry....standing right before me was the very woman I claimed years before to kill with my own two hands as she tossed Alexis and Eric in front of Kaitlyn and I as she went to check on them. They were badly bruised and unconscious as I looked at them then at her. She was the reason why Nicole was gone.....

Her murderer....

"Marie Schneider...." I say with venom in my voice as I felt something bubble up inside me. My gritting my teeth I felt fury build up inside me as I clenched my fists tightly looking at her with such an unpleasant emotion.

"Long time no see Chara~ I haven't seen you since....Nicole~" She said with with a hand on her hip and a few more werewolves behind her. I clenched my fists even further at that comment....how dare she....

"I'd love to stay and chat more Chara but I have more chaos to scatter~ have fun with Superbia's pets~ ta ta~" As she says this she began whispering a command as the werewolves all head for me and Kaitlyn growling loudly as we pulled out our weapons.

I won't let you get away that easy Marie.....
