Chapter Ten: Relax

It's been six weeks since that day. And not a single moment passed by without me getting angry at that thought. I can't believe all my hard work was not enough for me to defeat her and finally avenge....Nicole....oh Nicole....you're probably so disappointed in me huh...?

I was already released from my cast as I looked at my right arm staring at it with this blank stare as Eric and Alexis look at me with worry to which I looked at them next with a gentle smile.

"Glad I can move this arm again...." I say getting up and stretching. I was so glad to be out of the infirmary. I wasn't used to just sitting down and relaxing, I always liked to do almost anything to keep my body moving. Eric and Alexis had been going on minor missions during those 6 weeks since they refused to go without me.

"Glad you're feeling better now sis~ it's been boring without ya~" Eric says earning an eye roll from me.

I suddenly felt Alexis hug me tightly and she was shaking making me worried as I looked at her. "Alexis? What's wrong? If its about me snapping at you—"

"N-No its not....it's just...I talked to Monday and......"She says not looking at me in the eye as my eyes widen a bit in realization, taking a deep breath I bent down to her level and let her look at me.

"I see...so she told you everything huh?" I asked smiling a bit so she wouldn't be scared of me. Alexis meant a lot to me...almost as much as Nicole...and it pained me to see her like this. Fearful of me...

"Yes she did! I understand now...please don't be angry...."

"I'm not angry Alexis....why would I be angry at the one person who reminds me so much of her?" I say patting her head as she suddenly went into my arms hugging me tightly shedding tears as I shushed her gently trying to calm her down.

"Hey ya'll I heard Chara darlin' is all right and healthy as a horse!" I heard the familiar voice of a female come in and I soon let go of Alexis. Eyeing Kailtyn I stood up and we just stood there looking at each other in the eye.

"Kaitlyn...I apologize for my behavior...."

"Nah its ok sugah! You just been havin' a rough day! Don't worry yer pretty head!~" She grins tipping the front of her cowboy hat and looks Eric's way as they both blushed at each other. When she leaves I looked at Eric and coughed to break him out of his trance.

"Is there something I need to know? About you and my second in command?" I say smirking a bit raising an eyebrow as he blushes.

"I-I've kind of been dating her...awhile now...."Eric says looking at his sneakers with a huge blush on his face.

"YOU TWO ARE WHAT?!??!" Alexis screams earning us stares from the other students in the building as I rubbed my temples.

"I guess everything is back to normal again...."I sighed and smiled gently. Looking at my siblings. I was glad they didn't hate me for the way I acted.

"Speaking of back to normal...There's only two days left before we get back to our duties so...do you guys wanna watch a movie or something?

"Oh YEAH!! It's been awhile since we just went out as siblings!"Alexis said jumping up and down as I laughed a bit.

Despite them being a pain sometimes. I can't help but be happy whenever they are around me. I guess I've come to learn to cherish the things I have than lose them.

"Chara? Are you ok sis?" Eric said as he snapped me out of my thoughts as I rubbed my head a bit.

"Yeah I'm fine don't worry about it" I say smiling gently. "It's probably just the stress you're right Eric we do need this...so what movie are we watching?"
