Chapter 4

----Travis----

After breakfast I had a couple of hours before archery with the Demeter cabin. I walked to cabin 11 and crashed onto my bunk. The cabin was empty. Everyone was probably outside enjoying the nice day. Connor was most likely chasing after Miranda. Katie's half sister and best friend. It was honestly quite cute. It also sort of reminded me of me and Katie. The only difference was that Miranda also had a massive crush on Connor. Katie hated me. It was obvious she despised me because I always pranked her. I sighted. Looking around I made sure I was really alone in the cabin. I stood up and pulled the curtain back just to be completely sure because it had happened a couple times that Connor had hid behind there and sneaked up on me. Then I walked back to my bed and pulled up the bottom left corner of my mattress. Under it was a small red notebook with big black letters in it that read Privat. Picking it up I dropped the mattress and layed back on my pillows. Reaching over to my bedside table I picked up a pen and opened the book. I flipped it to the next blank page and stared to doodle something. I let my hand float over the paper not paying attention to what I was drawing. When I looked down at the page again I realized I drew a portrait of Katie's face. What the hell? I thought to myself. This was supposed to take my mind off Katie not focus on her even more. I shook my head and closed the book and put it back into its hiding spot. Turning my head to the clock I realized it was 9:37. Damit I scolded myself. I had archery practice with the Demeter cabin in 3 minutes. I jumped off
my bed and raced out the door.
