Chapter 6

When I reached the archery range all of the Hermes and Demeter cabin were already waiting.

"There you are ma' boy!" Chiron said and smiled at me.

He had a bow slung over his shoulder and a quiver on his back. His bottom horse half gleamed in the sun. He looked well just like always. At least one thing always stayed the same.

"Do you know where Katie is ma' boy." He asked with slight worry lines formed on his forehead.

"I figured she would be with you...." He raised his eyebrows at me but then removed his glance quickly. A couple of other campers snickered but I didn't let it bother me. Although, my cheeks might have been a little more rosy than normal.

"Since she's not with you I am growing quite worried." Chiron said. "Miranda isn't here yet either." He added.

I was starting to get a little worried but then Chiron turned to the side and smiled. I turned my head to where he was looking and saw Katie and Miranda running towards the group. I exhaled in relief that nothing had happened to them. Well especially Katie.

Her hair looked gorgeous with the pink high lights put into the French braid. Her piercing emerald eyes caught my attention and I couldn't pull my eyes away from them again.

"Sorry we're late Chiron." She panted out and broke my staring.

"Yeah we sorta got...... caught up." Miranda added.

"I was growing quite worried my dears." Chiron said giving them a sirius look. Although, which shattered as soon as it had appeared and his face grew into a smile again like normal. 

"Well let us not get caught up in the past and start the lesson!" He declared and everyone scattered to get their bows and quivers.

Katie went to Miranda's side and they started to talk about something I couldn't understand.

Oh gods why does Katie look so freaking hot!!?? Even when she's not trying she looks so gooood. And her hair and face and..... she's just perfect.....

"Yo dude you're drooling!" Conner said and punched me in the side.

"Ow! I'm not drooling!" I said quickly and wiped the drool off my chin with my right sleeve.

"Over Katie I expect!" He said wiggling his eyebrows.

"Was not!" I defended myself although he probably noticed the slight bush creeping up on my cheeks.

"Come on bro you totally were! You always zone out when she's around and make a total fool of yourself !" He teased. 

"No I don't!" I said and walked away.

I'm not a fool!
I'll show him I can get Katie. 

I put my cocky smirk on and walked over to her.
