Finn knocked on Millie's door, "hey, how's it going?" he said brightly.

She gave him a small smile in return, "yeah, pretty good, you?"

He noticed that she looked tired, like she hadn't slept again, and she was fiddling with her hands, a habit she had when she was nervous. "I'm good...are you really ok? you look tired."

She looked worried, "I've got something to tell you" she said, "I'll be right back". With that she stood and turned to go to the other room.

"What is it, more messages?" he asked crossly, stopping her in her tracks. Before she had a chance to answer he couldn't help but carry on, "look, Millie, you can't keep doing this, if you don't tell anyone else then who knows what will happen? You think you're protecting people, but how can they be safe if they don't know there's a threat?!" He was getting angry, the frustration of dealing with the secrets and lies had finally taken their toll and he needed to get it out. "You're playing right into their hands, if people don't know they can't help you...you're letting them get away with it, you're doing exactly what they want!" He knew as soon as he'd said it that it was a huge mistake, and the worst part is that he didn't even mean it.

She turned around, looking hurt. "What the hell Finn? You have no idea how I feel, it's my family being threatened, not yours, and no, I haven't had more messages, I needed to talk about...something else, but I guess it'll have to wait, right now I can't...you don't deserve...god, I think you should leave."

"Millie, I'm sorry..." started Finn.

"Please just go" said Millie, through tears.
