Brie rolled her eyes as she took a small sip of her coffee, “That man is so bipolar, no one can keep up with him.”

Bailey immediately nodded, “Tell me about it. I don't even know what to think anymore. One second, he doesn't want to talk about anything because he doesn't care and then the next he wants to start worrying about both of us instead of just himself? It just doesn't make sense to me.”

“Trust me, hun, it makes sense to none of us.” Brie muttered, “I will say however, to not put too much trust in him. He has a tendency of changing his mind too often. You never know when he's going to flip on you and with all this that has happened, it's best to not to believe in him enough to do the right thing.”

Brie felt bad for telling her to not trust in Jon, when Bailey could also not trust in her. She wanted to tell Bailey everything that happened, but she knew that Joe would have her head. Joe hadn't even made an effort to tell Bailey about Vegas, and as Brie has gotten closer to Bailey, the more tempted she was to tell her. Brie felt bad about trying to create an actual friendship with Bailey when she had slept with Joe and everyone knew but Bailey. However, no one was stopping Brie from making an effort, as well as how no one was making an effort to tell Bailey.

Bailey sighed, “I just don't even know what to think. I feel like I have to trust him because we're in this mess together, but he's so indecisive about it. I don't even think he knows what he wants to do.”

“He's like that about everything, Bails, he has never made a . sure decision since I've known him.” Brie said, “Know that I have your back if he does chose to do something stupid.”

Bailey smiled, “Thanks Brie.” She shook her head, softly, “I just can't believe how stupid this is. I knew it was going to be complicated, but I honestly didn't expect this.”

“Jon was probably the worst person to have a one night stand with, and it's not even that he's Joe's best friend. I think it's more of how he chooses to handle the situation.” Brie sighed, “We all tried talking to sense into him, and even Colby couldn't get through to him. He's just as stubborn as Joe is.”

“How are you two doing by the way?” Brie asked, before she could stop herself. Was it really okay to ask Bailey that question when Brie could be one of the reasons they would not be okay?

Bailey out put down her cup of coffee with a smile, “Good -- better than good actually. I really think that we’ve gotten past everything. I really don't want to say that our engagement fixed our relationship, but it does feel a lot more stable now. We don't really have many doubts in each other anymore and it just makes everything better.”

Brie opened her mouth, but hesitated. She wanted to tell Bailey at this very moment, but she knew she couldn't. She couldn't even think about what Joe would do or say to her, what their other friends would do to her.
