“Oh my fucking word. Can I not trust you to be alone for a night?!”
Jon shushed him, clearly seeing that they were attracting eyes, “Quiet down, will you?”
Colby glared at him, “I can't fucking believe you.”
Jon scoffed, “Alright, dad, if I knew I was going to get lectured, I wouldn't be here.”
“I am so close to reaching across this table and choking you.” Colby told him, sternly.
“You act like I-”
“You slept with Bailey again.” Colby cut him off with a frown, “Tell me how you do not deserve to get hit right now. She literally just found out about Joe and Brie not even twenty-four hours ago.”
“She was drunk, but so was I. She just needed something to get her mind off of it.” Jon told him, “It's not that big of a deal.”
“If it wasn't that big of a deal then you two would have parted ways after last night, but you're taking her to the airport, Jon.” Colby said with an eye roll.
“She has no one else to take her.” Jon argued.
“There's these thing called ubers.”
Jon glared at him, “Alright, CoCo, drop the sass.”
Colby glared back, “Jon, don't even think about starting anything with her. I understand that Joe fucked up, but that doesn't give you the right to go and pick up the pieces.”
Jon opened his mouth to argue, but Colby continued, “You slept with her, alright, but leave it at that.”
“Thanks for the advice, dad. What would I do without you?” Jon muttered, giving him a sarcastic smile.
“Who knows honestly?” Colby told him, seriously, “At least I'm not like Randy, who goes all philosophical and shit. I like to tell you how it is.”
“Yeah cause threatening to choke me is really telling it how it is.”
“Don't make it seem like you don't deserve it.” Colby muttered.
Jon rolled his eyes as he room a sip of his coffee, “Maybe, I do deserve it, but it takes two people to sleep together.”
“She knows it happened, right?” Colby asked.
Jon nodded, “Yeah, she does. I thought she would have been a little freaked out about it, but she was fine with it.”
“I think Joe hurt her so bad last night that she didn't even care that she cheated on him.” Colby said, “She knows what sleeping with you means, and if she wasn't freaked out about it, then it clearly says something.”
