“You're in too deep, my brother.”Jon rolled his eyes, “Tell me something I don't know.”
“I just can't believe that you basically confessed your feelings for her.” Randy said with a small shake of his head.
“I don't think that's what I-”
“You told her that you would take her in with all her baggage.” Colby told him, “And you didn't even hesitate.”
Jon groaned, “I'm just a little confused right now.”
“What are you confused about?” Colby asked.
“I don't know, man. She had basically begged me to sleep with her. Why me?” Jon took a sip of his beer, “There are plenty of other guys that would have gladly had sex with her and I'm just wondering why she chose to ask me.”
“Maybe you were just in the right place, at the right time?” Randy asked, “You shouldn't over think that too much.”
“I agree, man.” Colby said, “I mean I know she isn't that type of girl, but maybe she just knew that cheating with you would hurt Joe the most.”
“He did cheat with Brie and she was friends with Bailey, so maybe she's just trying to make Joe feel the same way.” Randy added.
“Look, I'm not stupid, I know the main reason she did it was to hurt Joe.” Jon shook his head, “I just can't get over our conversation yesterday. We were definitely putting a little too much feelings into our relationship. Too much feelings for us to just be fooling around.”
“I get that, Jon, I really do.” Colby said, “I'm just trying to figure out if you were the only one feeling this way or if she felt the exact same way.”
“Colby is right. She just broke it off with Joe and she probably doesn't want anything more than sex.” Randy agreed.
Jon rolled his eyes, “I get that because trust me, I don't want anything more than sex.” He sighed, “Why are we talking about this again?”
Randy laughed, “You're the one that brought it up, stupid.”
Colby shrugged, “This is also one of the first girls that you've ever been hooked on.”
“I'm not hooked on her.” Jon looked between his friends, “Jon Good does not get hooked on girls, especially not her.”
He clearly didn't know how many times he had to tell his friends the same thing. He definitely shouldn't be sleeping with Bailey because of Joe, but he certainly wasn't doing it because he had feelings for her. He wasn't going to lie and say that he didn't feel anything during their conversation yesterday. He could see and feel that their was clearly some feelings between them, but he also knew that neither of them were stupid enough to ever admit that to each other. They both knew what they wanted and when to stop it from going too far.
