Annabeth
Annabeth had not slept last night, not for the discomfort of possible nightmares but how much work needed to be done and how she worried about her friends. She had made the right decision, right? To travel as one would draw far too many monsters but what is each group was overwhelmed by monsters and had no back up? It would be impossible to travel across the word in the blink of an eye, she did not care what had to be done in order to make sure her friends were safe.
Yet again, her gaze sweeps over the Camp, she wanted a future. One with Percy and her friends and perhaps- she places a hand over her hot face, it was too early in the morning for such thoughts. The sun was barely breaking over the sky when she walked out her room in a orange Camp Half Blood shirt that stuck out sorely among the purple Camp Jupiter ones, to think there was an entire camp out here in California that was oblivious to them. The thought still surprised her. What more was out there?
Hazel and Frank were the first ones she saw , both speaking to other members of Camp Jupiter. Campers she had seen around and who had fought hard in battle. Their eyes widen before returning to normal and giving a stiff nod, both Frank and Hazel give a shy smile.
"We believe in you," Hazel closes her eyes, "this will not be our last time seeing each other as we will need not only you two but the entire camp."
The boy, Annabeth glances toward the tatoo on his inner forearm, a legacy nods. "I- no we understand. You are the Seven on the prophecy, able to deny fate once now again. Even now you are trying to save us."
"It was only be temporary but Camp Jupiter needs strong leaders. Even I feel inadequate in Reyna's role." Frank places a hand on his neck, "They are relying on you. Both of you so find support in each other."
Reyna. Her friend's fierce smile and cutting eyes flash in her mind. To venture after the joint army, Annabeth grins, they had no idea what kind of demigod they were provoking. Hazel notices Annabeth first and gives a goodbye embracing both the campers and jogging over to met her.
"Today is the day." Hazel says tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear, "This peace felt too short lived."
"I agree." Annabeth nods, "Yet it was joyful while it lasted, I will fight for this peace again."
Her eyes light up a hand resting calmly on her weapon, "Yes, for more peaceful days at Camp and with friends is something I will achieve."
"Good morning Annabeth." Frank waves walking over, "Has everyone assembled at the meeting location?"
"I am unsure actually I just woke up not too long ago." Annabeth walks with them stretching, "Everyone should be up, maybe except for Percy. When he sleeps, he sleeps like the dead with drool and all."
"I heard you were talking about me, Annabeth." He says quickly from behind her, "I for one do not sleep like the dead or drool in my sleep."
She cracks a smile, "Really?"
"I claim both statements on second thought." He smiles, "Yo, Hazel and Frank you ready for this next quest?"
"Ready as I'll ever be." Frank states shifting with the satchel over his chest, "Still better then our first quest in Alaska, it takes me back."
"Same here." Hazel agrees, "But it's for the greater good, having Saturn and Gaia together not to mention the Egyptians gods is not good. I want to protect you all and protect my home, I will pick up a sword for that cause."
The future Annabeth wanted, Hazel too saw her vision one she wanted to protect. Annabeth throws her arm around her pulling her closer, she would protect her friends any time no matter what and their home. She thinks of Camp Half Blood and Chiron. She glances at Percy who too was staring back, for him especially she would protect.
