Lilys POV

"Now how the Heck are we supposed cross this" Vern complained. 7 people stared at the ripples in the water, 4 boys, and 3 girls. I looked up at Chris, my annoying as fuck brother, the worst part is, he's dating my best friend mattie, I don't know what mattie sees in him. "Chris what are we gonna do? I'm not getting my clothes wet in this nasty pond!" Mattie complained "yea Chris. This was your idea, you take the lead" I said, shooting him a glare. I didn't even want to go on this stupid hike anyway, but Chris, getting his way, bribed me because Gordie (my crush for 2 months now) will be there. I stupidly said yes. "Calm down you to I got this handled" Chris picked up a stick and put it in the water, checking how deep it was. "Come on guys, it's not that deep." Chris said, signaling for us to follow. "I don't care how deep it is, it'll still get my favorite jeans all wet" mattie complained "fine" Chris rolled his eyes and picked up mattie bridal style. We all walked in, and faster than light, the ground dropped from beneath us, mattie was yelling at chris because she got her jeans wet, Hannah was trying to pry of Vern from her arm because he had clung onto her, Chris and teddy were having a splash fight, and me and Gordie tried to escape but Chris pulled Gordie into the water "CHRIS STOP!" He yelled and swam to where I was.

A couple of minutes went by, when mattie was done yelling at Chris she came out of the water and began to pout under a tree. Chris and teddy had finally came out of the water and began to dog pile Gordie "stop, gu-" Gordie got a frightened look on his face. "Vern, there's something on your neck!" He said, his eyes as big as a large pizza "yea right like I'm falling for that" Vern rolled his eyes, Chris looked his eyes got big too "Vern, there is something on you neck" all of the sudden the boys screamed "LEACHES" mattie screamed, I tried not to pass out, and the boys were stripping down to their underwear.  Mattie and I didn't care we were in our sports bra's and underwear. Hannah obviously didn't care that much, for she was in her jeans and undershirt. 

After the "leach fiasco" we all looked around at each other, I focused on Gordie, he had a terrified look on his face what's wrong gordie? You thought but soon enough he looked up and said "oh shit" he looked at Chris "awe shit man" he reached into his underwear, and pulled out a leach.  His eyes rolled back and he fainted.  All I could think was lucky leach.
