When Holly said those things to summer, it made me realize how much of a bad person i am. Watching Summers face emotions change is horiffic. she looks so sad and upset. she kept fiddling with her fingers and looking down. It also made me realize how much I actually love her. I want to protect her from every living thing.
I had enough of Holly. I walked over, im NOT afraid to voice my opinion when it comes to summer.
"You know what holly, if Summer really wanted to, she could loose her wait, she doesnt have to though, shes like a skinny as a twig but the point is you can't loose your ugly bitchiness. I cant believe I even dated you. what was wrong with me back then" I said.
Holly scoffed and walked away with her group of fake friends.
"Thank you so much Harry!" She sounded so happy, like she finally found a home out in a blizzard. she jump and gave me the biggest hug ive ever had. its times like these I like to sit back and remember that she is all mine and no one can take me from her. I hugged her back then pulled away. I picked her up bridal style and spun her around .. maybe this will be us in a few years, ill get to see her walk down the isle.
"No need to thank me summer, ill protect you and stand up for you no matter what. I love you so much" I kiss her with passion.
"I love you more" her small voice replys
"I truly dont think thats possible" I say walking towards the doors to leave.
"Ca-can we go to the gym?" She asks quietly. Did she take what holly said to heart?
"If you want sure but why?"
"I just think it would be fun"
"Why are you lying to me?" Controll yourself harry. she flinches at the rough contact of my voice.
"Im sorry princess, i didnt mean to yell at you"
"Its okay" she says and looks down at her hands.
We arrive at my car and get in.
"Do you wanna go to the gym now?" I ask
"Yes, please? i mean we don-"
I cut her off
"Just be quite" I laugh and make sure there a tone of Laughter.
She giggled then spoke
"Can we stop at my house please? I wanna change"
"Yea sure" i say with a smile
We pull up to her house and she gets out of the car.
"Are you gonna come in? im not sure if my dads home but I wouldn't want to be alone if he is"
I unbuckle my seatbelt and step out.
we walk up to the front door. I wait for her to get out her keys. after she unlocks the door we walk in.
the smell of beer and smoke is all that i can smell, how does Summer live here?
"Summer is that you?" She froze and started breathing faster, I tapped her to tell her to answer
"Y-yea its me"
"come here then you stupid whore!" She looks at me with sad eyes.
I wanna brake down and hold her and make all the pain go away.
I clear my throat to make him know that someone else was there with her. she started walking to her dad. oh god. this can't end well. Im gonna do anything to protect her. I follow behind her like a lost puppy.
"Ye-yes dad?" He voice is weak, barley heard
"Whos this?!" His voice raises
"This is Harry" She looks up at me with worried eyes probably wondering if she said something wrong.
"Well why are you just standing there. your hurting my eyes. leave" She just nods and starts turning around but i stop her with my voice.
"Excuse you? Thats your daughter for crying out loud. You dont treat any woman or anyone or anything for that matter that way! Your just like my father. Your a dead beat!"
"What did you just say to me son?" He says standing up. Im not intimidated by him, im NOT backing down. I sat in scilence for too long.
"I said your a dead beat. Summer doesn't deserve a father like you. she deserves someone much better. Summer go pack your stuff and change" I tell her. She looks at me and nods.
"Summer doesn't deserve anyone. she killed my wife! its all her fault"
"Knock some sense into your head before i knock it in myself. She didn't kill your wife!"
"Are you testin me boy?" He steps closer. im still not backing down. im doing this for myself and for Summer.
"Sure as hell I am, im not backing down either! You dont deserve anyone!"
He goes for the swing and I dodge it. I grab his hair and throw him down. I jumped on him wasting no time. I punch him in the face a few times and before I know it Summers back down stairs snapping me out of the world i was in. I barley remember anything. I pull her in to a hug and she flinches but hugs back.
"Come on, lets go.." She flinches when I reach out to grab her hand. Great now shes scared of me.
I grab the boxes of stuff she has. Summer is already out the door, me following behind. We get in the car and drive away. away from the horrid man that summer never has to see again.
