Someone's Jealous

Sia & Kristen: (sitting in class)

Chris & Ryan: (sit away from them)

Sia: What's wrong with them? (Tilts her head towards Chris and Ryan)

Kristen: I reckon Chris is jealous.

Sia: I told you we are just friends!

Kristen: Maybe he does not think that.

Professor Kevin: I'll give you your marks for the previous test now.
(hands everyone their papers) Take a look and see where you stand.

Ryan: I got a C! Yes! (Looks at Chris) What did you do?

Chris: (looks at his paper) I got....F?

Ryan: Oh. That is bad.

Professor Kevin: (walks towards Chris) Mister Chris, I called your father. Kindly wait in my office after this class.

Chris: (nods)

Professor Kevin: (walks away)

Ryan: Go easy with Kevin. He has got it in for you, that one.

Sia: I got an A!

Kristen: B here. (Grins)

Sia: (looks at Chris) What did Professor Kevin need from him?

Kristen: We'll ask him after class.

(Bell rings)

Everyone picks their bags and walks out.

Sia: Chris! What's up?

Chris: Nothing. (Speeds up and leaves her standing in the corridor)

Sia: (sighs) (notices Ryan) Hey, Ryan! What's up with Chris?

Ryan: Why don't you ask him?

Kristen: (catches up with Sia) So...?

Sia: They're acting so rude. I don't know why.

Martt: Sia! (Runs towards her)

Sia: (smiles) Heey, what's -

He pulls her closer before she could finish her sentence and gently places her lips on hers. She kisses him back smoothly then pulls away.

Sia: (blushes) How are you?

Matt: If that didn't answer your question, I don't know what should. (Grins)

Kristen: (coughs awkwardly)

Matt: (notices Kristen and blushes) Oh, hey, Kristen. I'm sorry, I didn't see you there.

Kristen: Obviously.

Matt: Er - I'll go now, okay?

Sia: Wait, did you want something?

Matt: No, I was just checking up on you. (Smiles)

Sia: Okay. (smiles)

Dr Kevin's Office

Chris: (enters)

His father: (looks at him) What did you do?

Chris: Dad, I -

Professor Kevin: Mr William, your son is always late for my class. I thought detention would do him good, but he just got an F on a test.

Mr William: Hmm. What do you recommend, Dr Kevin?

Professor Kevin: Well, I'll leave you two for some time first, then we'll talk.

Mr William: Okay, thank you.

Professor Kevin: (leaves the office)

Mr William: (angry) What's wrong with you? I thought we're done with this.

Chris: But dad, I didn't do -

Mr William: Listen to me, I don't have time for you. I brought you here to get educated and help me with the company, do you understand? Now apologize to your professor, and let me get the hell out of here.

Chris: (sighs) (goes out) I'm sorry, Professor.

Professor Kevin: I do not care if you're sorry. I want you to attend class early and to get good grades. Do you understand?

Chris: Yes, I do.

Professor Kevin: You are dismissed.

Chris: (walks away)

Chris's room

Ryan: So...?

Chris: I don't know...

Ryan: ....

Chris: My dad is such a -

Ryan: language.

Chris: (sighs) Sorry. It is just...I don't want to work in his stupid company!

Ryan: Relax. I'm sure you can do whatever you want. But we need to think about Sia now.

Chris: Right. What do you reckon I should do?

Chris: What did you say?

Ryan: (coughs) I saw Mark kiss her today.

Chris: Agh! That -

Ryan: Language!

Chris: Listen, you need to find me a way ASAP!

Ryan: Fine, fine. Calm down.
