In my apartment, I drop my backpack on the ground. I feel disgusting.

I take off my clothes and hop in the shower.

After a good forty minutes, I change into a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I go into the walk in closet to pick out a pair of lumber boots.

Which boots should I wear? Even though they all looked the same, I still had trouble deciding what to wear. I wish Jin hyung were here. He would usually help me decide.

I close my eyes and pick a random pair. I chose the expensive Timberlands V-ssi gave to me and said they would bring "good fortune." I plop onto my king sized bed.

I grab my phone on the nightstand. I have a bunch of notifications. I ignore them all and call Jimin.

"Hello?"

Jimin and I talked for a while. Then the mood shifted and it became silent.

"Jungkookie...are you..."

Scared? Yes. I was very scared. Yoongi hyung was injured. Namjoon hyung just got called and God knows what will happen to Hoseok hyung. We haven't heard anything from Jin hyung yet.

However, I didn't want to tell the other members I felt this way. I had a reputation of being the "strong" member. I didn't want my reputation to crumble.

"...sad?" Jimin finished.

"Yes, we all are." I felt more relaxed.

I remember what Jin hyung told me at the airport before he left. I remember the calm expression he had and the way he spoke.

"Take care of your hyungs, Kookie."

Jin hyung was usually the one who took care of us. He was like our eomma. Now that Namjoon hyung, our leader, was leaving, it was like we were losing our father, too.

"Jungkook-ah," Jimin continued. "I don't know what to do anymore."

"What do you mean?"

Jimin sighed deeply. "Namjoon hyung, he's leaving."

It sounded like Jimin was about to cry.

"I know, Jimin." I didn't want to talk about it too much. "Remember, Leader hyung doesn't want us to worry about him."

"I know, things are just...complicated." After a few seconds of silence, Jimin spoke again.

"Jungkook-ah," he began, his voice wavering.

"Yeah?" My heart started to pound faster. I sensed something was wrong.

"Where's V-ssi?"

---

Jimin and I hung up. We both agreed to start contacting V-ssi and to see where he might be.

I tap in his number and I am automatically sent to his voicemail.

Hi, you've reached Kim Taehyung. I am busy practicing, acting or shooting a V-live. If you have any questions, press one. If you want an autograph, press two and contact my manager. If you need tips on how to properly accessorize your Gucci watch, I'm sorry, I cannot help you. Idols do not reveal their secrets. If you have -

I hung up. Tae hyung's voicemail wasn't helping anything.

I flung my phone at my headboard. It landed on the floor. I quickly rushed over to see if it was alright. Fortunately, there were no scratches.

A feeling of homesickness flushed over me. I suddenly missed Emma, Appa, and Jung Hyunnie. They don't keep in touch often because they know I'm busy a lot. I wasn't busy right now, and I needed to talk to someone. I wanted to call them, but my parents were probably busy and Jung Hyun is working full time now.

I had the urge to call Jimin hyung again, but he seemed stressed so I didn't want to bug him.

I wanted to do a V-live, but I wasn't at the studio. I checked my new Instagram app. So far I had fifty six followers.

I went on the Twitter page, which a lot of ARMYs commented nice things like Stay safe or We'll miss you. I wasn't in the mood for that at the moment. I turned off my phone. It kept on buzzing because of social media, but no calls or messages.

I didn't know what to do. Should I take a selca? I don't post that often anyway, so maybe not. It might be weird.

My stomach made a weird grumbling sound. I decided to eat.

I stood helplessly in the kitchen, not knowing what to do. I usually ordered food when I was at the apartment; I wasn't really at the apartment except for sleeping, but I usually sleep at a hotel or in the dorms with my members.

I was all alone in the apartment. I didn't know what to do. I've never had nothing to do.

I suddenly remembered that Namjoon hyung didn't leave yet. I could call him.

"Hmm?" He picked up the phone he sounded sleepy or drunk.

"Hyung...what are you doing right now?"

"Jungkook-ah...I'm watch por- I'm watching videos."

Typical Namjoon hyung.

"Hyung, are you at your apartment or at the studio?"

"I'm at a friend's house." He said. I knew he was doing something...else. I could smell his perverted smile from the speaker phone.

"Ok, hyung." I said quietly. I was about to hang up when Namjoon hyung told me to wait.

"Wait, Jungkook-ah..." his tone of voice became more serious. "There's something you should know."
