(Two months later)
I slowly sip my drink and sit on an airport bench. It's become a part of my weekly routine to come here and stare out the window to watch planes come and go.
I know it sounds weird, but it's kind of relaxing. Some fans approached me, but all I could do was smile and wave. They've seen me sitting at the same bench and took photos, but I don't mind.
If sitting on an airport bench and drinking Omija tea is considered doing something great, then I'll continue to do so.
Then one day, the fans started acting weird.
As if they were hiding something.
I ignored them and continued to stare out the window. A plane had landed an hour ago, but after that, I dozed off.
And then it happened.
"Jungkook," I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. The familiar fragrance wafted into my nose.
It couldn't be.
"Jungkook," they repeated, and I froze.
I was in shock. I felt like turning around and screaming, but I also wanted to burst into tears.
"H, h..."
"Sh," they sit down next to me and squeeze me tightly. "It's alright, I'm here."
I buried my face into their wide shoulders and hugged them as tight as I could.
"Hyung, you're back," I didn't know what to do or say, I just sat there, hugging him and enjoying his company.
"Yes, I am," I could tell he was smiling. He pulls away and smiles, tears streaming down his cheeks. He looks so different, yet.... still the same.
"You did it," he wipes his face. "You took good care of them, Jungkook."
And he hugs me again tightly.
