"I'm still older than you,"
(Jungkook's POV)
Jimin's eyes narrowed and I knew he was giving me an eye smile. He looked as though he was full of joy for just one moment, but I could still see the pain behind his eyes. I could tell he missed Jin Yung, and after seeing what he was doing last night, I knew he was off.
Jimin and I conversed for a bit. It was nice sitting down next to each other and talking about our lives like old times. I miss those times.
As expected, things got more serious. Jimin looked down at his hands and played with his oversized long sleeves.
"Jungkook, what will I do with Jin Yung?" He began. "I don't want to leave her... I don't want to leave V-ssi... or you."
I stared blankly at my dry hands. I took a finger and traced it along the lines indented in my palm.
"I don't know," was all I could make out.
Jimin looked lost in his thoughts. Finally, he spoke very softly.
"I want to see her before I have to leave,"
I wanted Jimin to see his girlfriend, if that would make him less miserable. Seeing him like this made me feel awful. It made me think I wasn't helping anything, and just making everything worse.
Jimin changed the subject. "Kookie, let's go eat, I'm hungry."
"Sure, where should we eat?"
Jimin paused for a moment. "Do you know anywhere nice?"
I tried to remember where I ate the other day. "I'm not too sure," I replied, feeling even more useless.
Jimin checked his phone. A dull expression quickly wiped across his face as he checked his notifications. He tried to hide it from me, but I could see he was disappointed. Jin Yung probably didn't reply yet.
"Let's call TaeTae," Jimin suggested, dialing his number.
I agreed, though I had a weird feeling visiting Taehyung wasn't a great idea. Jihae might still be at his house from the other night, and I didn't want to interrupt anything.
Taehyung surprisingly picked up his phone.
"Chim? What is it?"
"TaeTae... Kookie and me want to come over, is that alright?"
There was a pause. Jimin looked up at me, and I just stared back at his phone. We heard giggling noises on the other line.
Moments later, Taehyung replied, he was out of breath. "Sure, hyung, come over any time you like,"
Jimin thanked him, and hung up. He had a weird expression on his face.
"You heard that too, right?"
I nodded. "Let's take my car," I offered.
(Author's POV)
After hanging out at Taehyung's house, Jimin made his way to the BigHit studio. He had to sign off some paperwork because he was enlisting soon.
