Day 9
I went to school the next day. I decided to talk to Ruby, giving him a chance.
He was at the vending machine, talking to one of his homeboys. I stepped in front of him and said "Hey Ruby", smiling so hard my mouth started to hurt. He smiled back and reply, "Was sup mami, we haven't speak in a long time."
Omg! just hearing his voice was so sexy. It almost made me melt.
"Why don't we go sit somewhere and talk." He says, also saying bye to his homeboys and walking me.
We went to one of the empty tables in the cafeteria and sat there. "I'm-- " He started to say until I interrupted him. "You don't have to apologize". He looked at me again and then hugged me out of nowhere. Me, thinking if I should hug back or not, just sat there. "You ok?" I asked him. He reply with an yes. "I just miss talking to you. That's all." He says, finally letting go of me. "The only way you'll hear my voice if you promise me that whatever happen between us --"
"Stays between us" He said, finishing my sentence.
"Yea. Pinky Promise?" I looked him in the eye and poke out my pinky finger.
He took one final look at me, took out his pinky finger and wrap his around mine.
