Day 23 - Week 5

Lunch is the worst part about school. One, the food is nasty. Two, bitches are definetly nasty.

As I was sitting down with Max at my table, the skank came around the corner with the cheater.

"Oh, look there goes the bitch hanging out with the loser." Josline said while Martha did a lil giggle in the back with Ruby wrapped around her.

"At least he has a way much better attitude than you." I said back, getting up and meeting her face-to-face.

"Y'all would make a great couple. Too bad you & Ruby didn't work out."

"Don't you see? Ruby rather be with some low-life having skank."

"Last time I check it was you who he left." Martha said giving me a smirk.

"He didn't left me. I left him because you was so desperate that you slept with someone you know damn fucking well he has a girlfriend."

"Make that ex girlfriend."

"Have any who told you, you're a fucking slut?"

"And have any one told you, I don't give a damn? At least my kitty was better than yours cus he always keeps coming back for a taste."

It had became silence when she said that. Everybody was staring at us but I was not bout to lose.

"Your just gonna stand there and let her talk to me like that?" I said, looking at Ruby.

He just look at me with those big mouth of his and said "What am I suppose to say?"

"Oohh, that's how you know he never cared about you from the start. Nobody cares about you. So why don't you & your geeky lil friend over there go somewhere you belong cus its not here", Josline said.

"You know what? Screw you, Ruby. I glad you found someone as low as your level." I hurry up and ran out of the café because I was not about to let them see the tears that are now starting to roll down my cheek.

I hadn't made it to the bathroom in time before i started bawling my eyes out. Max must have seen me cause he came hugging me from the side. "Its gonna be okay. Don't let them get to you. Your much better than that. I told you Ruby was nothing but a scumbag. But I'm always here by your side and you could come to me when you need someone to talk to."

I had finish crying when he ask me out to the movies. I said sure. Anywhere else is better than being here.

We had went to see a romance movie called "Compassion".

There were a lot of kissing scenes and it made me start crying again. It reminded me of all the time me & ruby share the same taste of kissing.

"I have something to admit to you." Max said, turning his head towards me.

"What is it?"

"I've always want to try something."

He paused for a minute then lean in and kissed me.

I didn't know how to react but suddenly I kissed back.

I didn't tell him or nobody elese but he was a great kisser.

Shh, its between me & you.

"Is this your first kiss?"

"No", He said.

"Can you bring me home now?"
It was already 8 pm and I didn't want my parents to get worry. He agreed that it was getting later so we had left the movies and he drove me home.

Before I left the car, I said "Don't get the wrong idea. Me kissing back was a...mistake."

"It wasn't for me. Goodnight."

"Goodnight." I said getting out of his car and shutting the door. I watch him leave as I open the house with my keys.

"Where have you been? School had end 4hrs ago!" My mom shouted at me. My dad who was in his boxers said, "Didn't we ground you, young lady?! You are not allow to go anywhere except school and home."

I ignore them and headed straight to my room. I didn't care what they had to say anymore. I was 16, about to turn 17. I'm becoming a grown women now. I don't need two old parents that life's are about to end to tell me what to do.
