Felix' memory
Mark was scared. I could tell be the fear that glazed over his eyes and the way he messed with his hands while staring at the floor, refusing to make any eye contact with me. Something was bothering him and I was gonna find out what.
"Mark? Are you OK?" I asked, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder which he automatically shrugged off. Mark was sat on my bed, his hands going from his lap to messing with his vibrant red hair. I sat next to him and tried to get him to look at me but to no avail.
After of what seemed to be an eternity, Mark finally looked at me. His eyes were red and stolen from obvious crying, tears stained his face and his breathing was short and heavy. I needed the truth and I needed it now.
"What's going on Mark?"
Mark took a deep breath before replying,
"I have what seems to be a demon in my mind. He threatens me, forces me to do the things I do. He also takes control of my body to do terrible things. Every night he floods my mind with images and experiences no one has to go through. It terrifies me knowing that when I shut my eyes, he's there... waiting..."
Mark burst into tears after that. Trying to tell me clearly washed it out of him. I pulled the man into a comfortable embrace and just sat there with him, forgetting about the world around me for the time being.
Lying his sleeping body onto my bed was tough work. After rapping him up in a blanket I left the room. But when I came back, I noticed that Mark had gone. I thought hat he had just gone for a walk...Boy, could I have been more wrong...
This one sucks - I know guys. Plz forgive me :'
