Mark -
All I could feel was pain. It surrounded me and didn't cease. Fighting back control was always agony, especially since Dark seems to gain more powerful as each day passes. How much of it I could handle was unknown to me.
As I shifted and sat up, I noticed a puddle of blood surrounding a figure. I walked towards it and my heart stopped. Jack was lying in his own blood, unconscious. The blood seemed to be coming from his head.
I knew he needed medical help, I also knew that if I laughed as insanely as I could people would run in. Lifting myself to my feet, I walked into my glass room and closed the door behind me. Jack's body lay cold, emotionless.
With a single breath, I screamed at the top of my lungs. Doctor's came rushing into the room and immediately recognised the figure lying at there feet.
They all stared at me like I did it, which was technically true. But I wasn't prepared to tell them that. I watched as Jack was taken out on a stretcher - knowing that all this my fault. How could I harm such an innocent creature??
Watching as he was whisked away, Dark chipped a remark.
"I hope he comes back..."
Sorry this is short. I've just been writing for hours and needed a chapter on. Please forgive me if it isn't up to usual standards :)
