Mark's dream -
Everything was dark. The world was a blur and I couldn't even see my hands. A breeze kissed my cheek and left an icy chill in its place. Where was I??
Hello Mark
A voice echoed. It seemed to be coming ftom all directions. Fearing for my life, I did the one thing I'm actually good at - run.
I didn't know why I was running or who I was running from but I didn't stop. Pain burned in my chest but I didn't care. Tears stung my eyes, my vision blurred and my heart burst through my chest.
I fell through some sort of invisible door because the next thing I knew was falling. Falling. Then I hit a stone cold floor, making hard contact with my face.
"Ugh..." My head spun round in circles and I didn't know which way was up.
You pathetic
That voice again? Where was it coming from? I decided to walk - where too was beyond me. Thoughts of Jack spun around in my mind and I started thinking the worse. I needed to get back to him. Maybe he was here somewhere?
"Jack!"
"Jack, baby answer me!"
He ain't here Mark, but I am...
I stared out into the direction of the voice. Someone was stood confidently in the distance, but I didn't know who.
"Jack?" I asked, hoping to hear his beautiful irish accent. But a light flickered on above the figure. I came face to face with the one person I didn't want to see.
Dark
How we doing Markimoo?
Dark looked just like me but darker. His side parting was the opposite of mine, he wore a suit his voice was a hell lot deeper than mine - if that's possible.
My feet froze to the spot and my mouth went dry. No it wasn't him, was it? Dark suddenly grabbed my throat and lifted me into the air. All oxygen intake was stopped. I grasped for air as the beam of light went dark.
Goodnight Markimoo. Sleep tight
