(memo: dan likes the sea and meets someone at midnight..)\THATS ALL YA NEED TO KNOW/

Daniel loves the sea. The sea is where he would most likely be if you didn't know where he was. When Daniel was very, very little, his parents look him to Neverlaner Beach. Neverlaner Beach is one of the best beaches to go to. Has snack bars, picnic tables to eat at, an arcade a little bit aways from the area, some stuffed animals of creatures you can find in the sea to purchase, and a big sea. The sea was ginormous, considering it's a sea. Daniel would always go to the same area; under the cove. There would be a cove over the sea, blocking out a huge amount of light, causing a very calm atmosphere. Most people wouldn't go under the cove, stories been told of that place. Daniel however, was a very wondrous boy, wanting to find new adventures at every corner. Once Daniel got older, he didn't go to the beach as much, since he had to be focused on a lot of other things to keep his time occupied. As much as Daniel would like to go back to the beach, he never seemed to have the time to. So, he made a date to go to the beach to look at everything and feel the nostalgia from the beautiful place.

As Daniel put his shorts on, he remembered that he might also need sunscreen, considering how pale he is and how sunny it is outside. He swiftly put on the sunscreen, grabbing a little bag to shove his sunglasses, more sunscreen, a water or two, and his beach towel into. So, with his things, he was off to leave. He closed and locked the door, heading down to the beach. As he reached there, the sound of kids laughing and playing filled him with joy. He smiled, looking at everything and how much it stayed the same. Daniel decided he wanted to get to the cove, so he began to ran. He ran and ran, joy filling him inside. As he reached the cove, he laughed. It looked like the same, scary yet interesting cove from all those years ago. "Ya know, it's dangerous to be over here, right?" Someone questioned Daniel, making his turn around. "Oh, but it isn't." He replied back, laying out his towel on the shaded ground. "But it surly is. Someone got captured under these here waters, never been spotted since. We all say a murder." The stranger told him, making Daniel roll his eyes at him, continuing to set his area up. "I highly doubt that. This place is as careful as the rest." Daniel replied back, getting the stranger to give him a look. "Whatever, weirdo. Go and die if you'd like, we warned you." The stranger replied, making Daniel flick him off and continue to set up until the person walked away. "Some people." He muttered to himself, sitting down on his towel, looking at the ocean, getting quite transfixed. The dark, deep ocean, it was seeming to loam over the sandy beach every once in awhile, getting higher and higher up the sand. The ocean looked so dark, yet brightly blue. Fish would sometimes flop out of the water, some underwater sounds would reach the surface, scaring younger kids and making adults flinch at the sudden sounds. Daniel however, stayed still, looking over everything as if it were a normal day, which it was.

Before he knew it, the daytime sky was setting off into a dark blue horizon, stars appearing and twinkling as if they owned the place. 'You petty stars, keep up the act of owning everything before it's owned by someone else.' He thought, looking up at the stars and laughing at his thoughts. He saw everyone was gone, everyone. Nobody was here, except Daniel. He was alone on a dark beach at midnight. Something he never thought he'd do. He knows he should be home by now, but he can't bring himself to leave yet. Not quite. Hasn't got a chance to do it in a long time, don't want to leave for a long time again. Then, he got an idea. He wanted to go swimming. Of course, it's clearly dangerous, considering the fact that it's pitch black out and you don't have a way of knowing what's underneath the water to hurt or save you. Yet, Daniel took the risk. He kicked his shoes off, sitting them by his bag, then socks by his shoes, walking over to the water. "I already know I'm going to regret this shit." He mumbled to himself, walking farther into the water. Since the sun was glazed upon the water all day, it wasn't freezing, quite warm actually. Daniel kept walking, then began to swim. Swimming in circles, bobbing his head back up once in awhile. The moon began to shine overtop his curly head, making his eyes glisten in the light. While he wasn't looking, a huge wave came crashing over his head, sucking him underwater. Dan gasped slightly before going under, trying to swim back to the surface. As he reached up, another powerful wave knocked him back down. "God, no!" Daniel spoke out, trying to stay afloat in the water, yet kept getting pushed under. Soon, he got himself over a wave, being able to swim again. "Thank fuck that's over-" he got interrupted by his eyes drifting off to see another huge wave coming his way. He tried to swim a different way, but the wave came quickly, seeming as if it grabbed his entire body and threw him underneath. The waves were enclosing him, making it harder to breathe. He stuck his head up one more time before another sucked him under. Daniel slowly felt himself losing the battle, going to sink under the water and into the abyss of the sea. He tried to move himself above the water again, but didn't have the strength to do it. Soon, he felt his arms falling to their side, his legs stopped moving. 'It's over, isn't it?' He thought, seeing everything in blurry vision. Then, he felt it. A feeling he'd never feel before. The feeling of being saved. Someone's arms wrapped around dans waist, pulling him quickly above water. The person kept a strong grip over his body, not letting him fall or faint. As they lied Daniel upon shore, they pumped his chest, getting the water he previously inhaled, out of him. He turned into a coughing fit, coughing and wheezing, breathing in deeply and letting it all out slowly. As dan readjusted to being on land again, he saw bright blue eyes staring back at him. Eyes so blue he could go swimming in. Daniel let out one more heavy sigh, mumbling out, "thank you so much." "shut up." "What?" "You almost got yourself killed!" "By accident!" Daniel defended, confused at who this guy was. "Nonetheless, what the hell were you doing out there so late, getting yourself killed?" They asked, crossing their arms. "Me? You were the one who was in the ocean to save me!" Daniel replied back, throwing his arms up in the air. "Are you thankful I saved you or not?" The person asked, keeping their arms crossed. "Yes, im so thankful!" Daniel answered, sighing deeply again before looking down. The guy sighed himself, looking over at dan in a fond way. "Keep yourself careful, Howell." They mumbled before turning off, and going back into the sea. "Wait one minute, how do you know my!-" and he was caught off again by the sound of the water. That person jumped back into the water, as if it were normal. "What the hell?" Daniel asked himself, looking around the area, then shrugged. "Who knows." He whispered, packing up his things and leaving, but not before hearing a lovely sound of laughter and something hitting the water.
